Q: Who inspired you to pursue a music career?
A: Not who but what; Poverty. As a kid it I was sold that this is an easy way out of the ghetto. Not knowing what it really takes
Q: What challenges did you face as a youth in pursuit of your music?
A: I started writing raps in 1997. We recorded to cassettes using tape to cover that little hole. We used 2 radios one for the instrumentals and the other to record our voices. We upgraded to a keyboard and a microphone, we hung the mic from my room light fixture. Being from Orangeburg SC hiphop opportunities were very limited. I moved to Georgia hoping to get my career jumped off, but I guess I didnt apply myself enough and life is a bitch. I brought my first PC 2006 after being shown the setup. Challenges after the Lab is up and running were quality of sound the loudness and noise in the mic. Now I need more money for the right equipment. But I dont know where to start not knowing the internet had the info I needed; I wasted years with trial and error. Im hustling for the extra cash and Im doing pretty good so getting my music out was put on the back burner but I kept recording telling myself I will get it right one day. Me being stubborn wouldnt allow another to mix and master my works, and I still feel this way. Life changing events made focus on my music and now Im here.
Q: Describe your feelings when you’re recording music in the studio?
A: Im very moody so it depends on the beat and I how I feel. I recorded most of my music drunk. I always have move mood into musical creation mood and once I warm up; I AM HAPPY

A: That its a business in that nature that it is.
