Just a few months following the launch of his official debut album ADHDJoyner Lucas is back with another project titled Evolution. This project features 13 tracks along with features from Rick Ross, Ashanti, The Game, and more. Right before Evolution, he also released two singles “Fall Slowly” and “Snitch.” It was back in August that he made an announcement on social media about releasing Evolution the next month. His previous album ADHD included a cut called “Will,” which earned the respect of Will Smith, who went on to contribute to the track’s remix.

Upcoming project of Phora, With Love 2, will be released soon and he is definitely prepping for it. Right after collaboration with Jhené Aiko, Phora has now collaborated with Kehlani for his latest single “Cupid’s Curse.” It is expected that “Stars In The Sky” will be featured in With Love 2, which is a highly anticipated sequel to his 2016 project With Love. Last year, he released another full-length body of work Bury Me With Dead Roses, which also marked his first independent release since he walked awy from Warner Records. In 2017 and 2018, his released two major projects, Yours Truly Forever and Love Is Hell, respectively.

A lawsuit has been filed by Actor Terrence Howard against 20th Century Fox Film, for unpaid compensation. That is because they didn’t take his permission for making use of his likeness in the logo of the show Empire. Howard acted as Lucious Lyon on “Empire” for six seasons. The network is being sued by him for breach of contract. According to Howardhe was given the run around when he wanted to receive royalties as his image and name were being used. The said logo of Empire features a picture of Howard’s face. According to Howard, he did not do a photo shoot for the logo, and insteadFox used an image from Howard’s role as DJay in the 2005 film, Hustle & Flow.

The first cannabis brand of JAY-Z has been finally launched. It was on Friday that the brand’s website was unveiled by this billionaire-entrepreneur, along with its Instagram account. Any shopper who is interested can sign up for email alerts on the Monogram website, and they will be notified as soon as the inaugural line of products arrives. This is also the first project that is a result of the partnership of JAY and Caliva, which is a California-based cannabis, which the rapper chose to collaborate with in 2019. JAY is the Chief Brand Strategist of Caliva and he stated that he wishes to address various marijuana-based social justice issues.

Sell Sole II, a new album of DeJ Loaf has been released recently. This project is the official debut of the singer who became popular for her breakout hit “Try Me.” Back in 2014, the first installment of Sell Sole was released. The second one includes great features from names like Big Sean, Rick Ross, Lil Uzi Vert and 6lack. The tenth track represents Detroitfeaturing Sada Baby and 42 Dugg. On the other hand, “Get Money” is the song for lyrical heads, since it features Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, and Boldy James.
