DRAGGED ON CONCRETE
After dragging a minor Black teen across the pavement, a police officer has been suspended. This happened although the teen was not resisting. This incident occurred in Mansfield, Ohio earlier this month. Officer Jordan Moore stopped a car that was of the father of the teen. Although there is no information on why the car was stopped, the video shows both father and son on the ground and surrounded by cops. Then, Moore begins to drag the teen by holding the back of his hoodie, although the kid was complying. Even the father was manhandled and aggressively pushed into the car.
Police Chief Keith Porch stated that Officer Moore violated department policy. “There was no immediate need or emergency for Officer Moore to take the action of dragging the arrestee.”
