BET Hip Hop Awards recognize Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch and more

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards were seamless, as they celebrated the genre’s biggest heavy-hitters. While there were some changes because of COVID-19, viewers could still enjoy virtual performances by Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Mulatto, 2 Chainz and more for the 15th annual event of the ceremony. The biggest winner was Megan Thee Stallion as she took home awards in three of the eight categories she was nominated in. She was the recipient of Hustler of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration awards on Instagram.

Megan’s collaborator in “Savage (Remix)”- Beyoncé also won Best Collaboration and Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse.
