At the present time, Stormzy is on tour to promote his upcoming album This Is What I Mean. Over the weekend, he performed his new single, “Hide & Seek”, with his band on “The Graham Norton Show.” A powerfully produced single by P2J, Owen Cutts, PRGRSHN, and Calum Landau, “Hide & Seek” depicts the breakdown of a romantic relationship.
Exactly three years have passed since the South London rapper released his sophomore album, Heavy Is the Head, a 16-track release featuring contributions from Yebba, Tiana Major9, H.E.R., Ed Sheeran, Aitch, and more. Stormzy’s debut album received both critical and commercial acclaim, launching him to the top of the UK Albums charts and earning him platinum certification. In the years following, Stormzy has remained largely a featured artist, appearing on a number of notable tracks. These include Dave “Clash,” Burna Boy “Real Life,” Tion Wayne “I Dunno,” Loski “Flavour,” Headie One “Ain’t It Different,” Yaw Tog “Sore (Remix),” Ghetts “Skengman,” and Knucks “Die Hard.” Stormzy also collaborated with Wiley, releasing STILL DISAPPOINTED and “Disappointed”. Prior to the album announcement, Stormzy released “Mel Made Me Do It” in September.
