The late Migos star Takeoff is honored by Boosie Badazz song “Rocket Man” released in November of 2022. The Baton Rouge rapper spoke of the senseless losses he has suffered throughout his career in the heartfelt song.
As of Friday (April 28), Boosie Badazz has released “Rocketman (Remix),” an updated version of the original track featuring Kodak Black and Jeezy. As Jeezy begins his verse on “Wipe Me Down”, he matches the song’s original subject matter with a series of emotional rhymes describing the different ways in which youth are dying in the streets, as well as his own personal struggle.
“The Rocketman (Remix)” is the follow up to the February drop, Lines For Valentines, which included 10 tracks and features contributions from Money Bagz OG Dre. In addition to his own work, Boosie Badazz has been featured on a number of recent cuts, including DJ Drama “Iron Right” and EST Gee “HOTBOYS.”
