Although he has recently experienced some setbacks, DaBaby has always maintained his talent. There is no doubt that when it comes time for the Charlotte rapper to step into the booth, he is always in go mode and knows how to light a fire to any beat he touches. It has become increasingly obvious that summer is not far off, and now is the perfect time for rappers to unleash bops that will be worthy of repeated listens over the course of the summer.

It is safe to say that DaBaby is aware of this for sure and is taking advantage of it. As of today (May 5), he is offering fans a new three-piece fried hard called “Call Da Fireman” along with a lot more in the pipeline for 2023 based on what I have seen so far.

It is DaBaby’s first official release of the year, and it serves as the follow-up to DaBaby’s Baby On Baby 2 album, and fans are in for a real treat, since this will be his first official release during the year. The 31-year-old singer made a statement about how he had no choice but to adjust after being connected with the controversy he has been involved in over the last year in an interview with Billboard magazine. “When I became a human being, I began to get the urge to defend myself at every single opportunity,” he said. “As long as it leans towards my personal affairs, when it’s bullish and blustery, as long as it’s not going to have anything to do with my daughter’s food or around me … I don’t care about it at all, except perhaps for the business I’m associated with. My words will hold my tongue when it comes to personal issues, but I’m going to hold my tongue when it comes to the stuff that I do care about, because it’s the stuff that matters to me. It’s going to be snatched out of my mouth by someone who will be coming to take it from me, because I am human. But as they say, it comes with the territory.”
