The Nigerian star Burna Boy surprised fans yesterday (Jan. 30) with the release of a new visual from the upcoming release of “Common Person,” a Telz-produced effort that emphasizes the importance of living together as a community and as individuals:
The accompanying video for “Common Person” is provided by DK and begins with Burna Boy visiting a village, to the delight of its people. He assists the locals with many of their everyday tasks, such as preparing a meal and pushing a damaged vehicle to a more convenient location. An evening celebration is shown at the end of the video, during which a beautiful party is taking place.
In accordance with the story that was previously published, this song, “Last Last”, which is one of the highlights of Love’s Damini, has been certified platinum in the United States. Also, the Toni Braxton-sampled work was honored with platinum plaques in countries such as the France, Canada, U.K., and New Zealand.
