It was announced last Friday (Feb. 17) that Jay Critch would release his 19-track Jugg Season album, which will feature guest vocals from Baby Money, Rich The Kid, and Max B. As our readers know by now, Brooklyn emcee XXXX continued his momentum yesterday (Feb. 21), with the official music video for his latest single “Handle.” In the new music video directed by Dee Sauce, the movie follows the 24-year-old rapper through a day in his busy life, including front row seats to two New York Fashion Week shows, as well as hanging out with some friends of his. As he flows around the track, he shows off his trademark calm and collected manner:
It has been a while since the “Dreams In A Wraith” rapper Jay Critch has released an album, his last effort being Critch Tape, a 23-track project from 2021 that worked with the likes of Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign and Drakeo The Ruler. He has been offering customers a steady stream of loose appearances over the past few years. This has included the release of “Gifted” as well as a collaboration with Harry Fraud on “Born With It.” and “Deadline,” “Spin No Blocks,” “Stamped,” “Click It,” in collaboration with Prince Swanny
Besides his own releases, you’ll also hear Jay Critch on a number of tracks that aren’t his own, such as “Where’s Dexter” produced by Famous Dex and Rich The Kid, “Identify Yourself” featuring Ralfy The Plug and Drakeo The Ruler, “Rose Gold” composed with Yung Lano, and a long-awaited reunion between Rich Forever Music and himself.
