It is with great pleasure to announce that the Grammy-nominated songstress shares her first solo release, “calm & patient,” since having her son Noah, on March 31st. In the new song, she sings about overcoming the struggles in life by looking at the positive side of things as a way to remind ourselves to slow down and appreciate the moments in life:

My apologies to Def Jam and Tea, but this one is meant for the two soulmates who have been through so much together.
The last full-length solo album that the “Stay Ready” singer Jhené Aiko released was Chilombo, which released in 2020. On the 20 track project, you’ll find guest appearances from Ab-Soul, Miguel, Future, John Legend, Nas, H.E.R., Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, in addition to averaging 152,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week of release. On the Billboard 200, it debuted at the No. 2 spot with 160 thousand album equivalent units. It was not long after the release of the album that she launched the deluxe version of it, which included nine new tracks.
