On Friday, February 17th, Jay Critch, who is known for his rap songs, will release his new album Jugg Season via Empire Records. In the last couple of weeks, it’s been evident that the New York emcee has been steadily preparing fans for the release of the project with cuts like “Spooky,” “Cheating (Freestyle),” and “Up All Night.” In the last couple of hours, the emcee shared one last preview of the project before it drops in full on Feb. 28, titled “Oh What A Feeling.” Critch delivers his trademark smooth flows over production from JULiA LEWiS and Thank You Fizzle.
The “Dreams In A Wraith” rapper’s Jay Critch most recent release was 2021’s Critch Tape. It included contributions from artists such as Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign and Drakeo The Ruler. With plenty of loose releases since then, he has continually kept fans happy, including “Spin No Blocks,” “Stamped,” “Deadline,” “Click It” featuring Prince Swanny, “Gifted” and the collaborative effort with Harry Fraud titled “Born With It.”
As well as his own releases, Jay Critch has been featured on numerous other tracks, including “Identify Yourself” featuring Ralfy The Plug and Drakeo The Ruler, and “Where’s Dexter” with Famous Dex and Rich The Kid, “Rose Gold” featuring Yung Lano, and “The One” featuring Spalos, the last of which was a long-awaited reunion with the Rich Forever Music crew.
