On Election Day, Busta Rhymes Performs For Voters Outside Apollo Theater

To spread some joy among voters on Election Day, Busta Rhymes reached Apollo Theater. The rapper is currently promoting his new album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, and on Tuesday, he paired up with Funk Master Flex for a pop-up show. These performances were a small part of Joy to the Polls, which is a movement headed by the Election Defenders- a group working to prevent voter suppression. After his performance, Busta took to Instagram to talk about matters beyond polls, aimed at Black voters. By engaging in music and dancing, Joy to the Polls motivates people to remain in the voting lines.
