Duke Deuce has dropped a video for his latest single, “NOBODY NEEDS NOBODY.”

The artist whose most recent solo LP was released back in October 2022 was Duke Deuce, the third installment of the fan-favorite Memphis Massacre series he began back in 2018. You can listen to a sample of Memphis Massacre III below. There are 13 tracks on the mixtape and some of them are exclusive to Memphis. These include features from Big Moochie Grape, Lil Thad, ATM Rich Baby, Glockianna, Dubba C, and one of his fellow QC labelmates, Gloss Up. Besides the release of the song, he also released the visuals for the song “Mr. Memphis Massacre,” which was released back in December, was followed up by video clips for various cuts including “GLOCKIANA,” “ANNA,” and “BUCK THE SYSTEM.”

Memphis Massacre III will follow Deuce’s debut album from June 2022, CRUNKSTAR. As part of his legacy, he tapped a variety of talented names for assistance during the creation of the body of work. These names include Slimeroni, Gloss Up, Co Cash, Rico Nasty, GloRilla, Doe Boy, DJ Tootz, Babyface Ray, Juicy J, JP The Rockstar, Lil Yachty, and Dante Smith.

Tink discusses “Toxic” love in her new single

Tink discusses “Toxic” love in her new single

It is expected that Tink will have a very busy year in 2023. She released her latest sensual track and video, “Toxic,” over the weekend. A soundtrack from the musical Chicago was used to inspire the video directed by Josh Jones. As she delivers her lyrics about a destructive relationship, the 27-year-old star refers to the infamous “Cell Block Tango” scene as she delivers her opening line:

“I listen to [‘Toxic’] every day because it puts me in that mindset,” Tink said in a press release. “My favorite thing to do is see the girls pop their asses, and this sets the tone for the year. The video was created as a result of the patterns we all see in relationships of different kinds, those unhealthy cycles.”

Earlier this year, the Illinois-born artist released his Pillow Talk album, a 16-song project that included guest performances from Russ, Toosii, Layton Greene, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Muni Long, and G Herbo. Prior to the release of the album, singles such as “Cater” and “Goofy” featuring 2 Chainz were well received. In addition to her own releases, Tink has also worked with Vedo and Babyface in collaborations such as “Whatever” with Babyface and “Somebody” featuring Vedo.

The Florida rapper, Kodak Black, released an impressive new track yesterday (Jan. 22) called “Maui Woop,” which is produced by Dyryk and sees the rapper taking a moment to reflect on his life and losses.

In addition to the track, Maui Woop also includes a matching video produced by Cameraman Chris. Kodak Black can be seen entertaining his viewers with a drink on the balcony. He also takes part in water activities, having fun with his kids, and more in the Aloha state. Aside from that, he is seen wearing high-end furs in an unknown setting with his crew of friends.

Kodak Black recently dropped a new album on the heels of his last effort, Kutthroat Bill: Vol 1, which came out last year. The record also included collaborations with the likes of Prince Swanny, NFL Tuewop, VVSNCE, and Lil Crix. Further to this, 2022 was a year in which the 19-track collection Back for Everything was released. There was no doubt that that album would be dominated by the smash hit “Super Gremlin,” a song with an emotional impact that was first released in 2021. In addition to earning a platinum certification on those two singles, they also reached the third spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. A prominent part of the album features a guest appearance from Sniper Gang’s frontman on Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed fifth album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, released on March 29, 2015. The album set a new standard for hip-hop with its own instrumentals and lyrics. During the week ending January 16, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers had the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
