Aleza, a rising star in the hip-hop world, has once again proven her versatility and ingenuity by collaborating with fellow Memphis rappers GloRilla, Gloss Up, Slimeroni, and K Carbon. The group has recently released their new single titled “Wrong One.” Produced by the renowned Tay Keith, the track is a powerful narrative of dealing with toxic men, a theme that resonates with many listeners.
A Deep Dive into “Wrong One”
“Wrong One” is not just a music track; it’s a statement. The lyrics boldly tell the story of a woman who refuses to be victimized by a deceitful man. The artists use their unique voices and lyrical prowess to depict their stand against such individuals.
The Music Video: A Tale of Retribution
Accompanying the single is a compelling music video that begins with the discovery of GloRilla’s unfaithful partner. The group of women, in response, heads to the man’s house, intending to wreak havoc. One scene from the music video interestingly mirrors the rooftop scene from the 1996 film “Set It Off,” adding a touch of cinematic nostalgia.
Making Waves in the Music Industry
The collaboration between Aleza, GloRilla, Gloss Up, Slimeroni, and K Carbon is not new. The artists have been together for a couple of years, releasing hits like “Shabooya,” “You The Type,” and “Set The Tone.” Their collective success has been a testament to their synergy and shared passion for music.
GloRilla’s Rise to Fame
GloRilla’s career took a significant leap with the release of the HitKidd-backed “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” Her label deal with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group and her inclusion as a 2023 XXL Freshman propelled her to the hip-hop forefront. Her recent project, ”Anyways, Life’s Great…,” featured the Cardi B-assisted “Tomorrow 2,” which secured the No. 9 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and received a double platinum certification.
Gloss Up’s Journey
GloRilla isn’t the only one making strides. Gloss Up signed a deal with Quality Control in 2022. Her first project under the label, “Before the Gloss Up,” dropped in January, featuring contributions from GloRilla, Slimeroni, K Carbon, and Aleza. The 13-track effort further showcased the collective’s talent and chemistry.
Conclusion: A Promise of More to Come
The release of “Wrong One” not only underscores the group’s musical talent, but it also serves as a strong statement against toxic masculinity. The track’s success is a clear indication of the collective’s rising popularity and their potential to dominate the music scene in the coming years.
The collaboration between Aleza, GloRilla, Gloss Up, Slimeroni, and K Carbon has been fruitful, leading to several chart-topping hits. With each artist bringing unique skills to the table, fans can expect more captivating music in the future.
In the world of music news, collaborations like these are exciting, promising a blend of styles and perspectives. As music lovers, we can only anticipate what Aleza and her fellow Memphis rappers will bring to the table next.
Such collaborations are not just about producing good music; they are about making a statement, about standing up against societal issues, and about empowering others through their lyrics. As such, we look forward to more powerful and resonating music from this talented group.

GloRilla has been teasing us on social media for quite some time now, and she has come through with her remix of Latto’s hit from April, “Put It On Da Floor.” The Memphis rapper gets a kick out of the banger, which was mixed and mastered by Ben Hogarth and Go Grizzly, as she boasts of her accomplishments and sends strong messages to her many detractors.
Taking the clip for the song “Put It On Da Floor (GloMix)” from Samuel Finley, the clip features GloRilla enjoying a luxurious residence with her friends, as well as a scene from the video. It is a brilliant video that shows the group flexing their muscles with stacks of money and jewelry, breaking into dance moves, and driving matching Corvettes across the city.
There has been a lot buzz around GloRilla since she released her debut EP, Anyways, Life’s Great… in 2022, making it one of her first official releases under Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group label. It was such a remarkable project from Niki Pooh, Cardi B, and Hitkidd that it debuted at No. 5 on Billboard’s list of Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, which is the biggest ranking in the country. Within a few months of its original release, the “Tomorrow” star took the music world by storm with Anyways, Life’s Great…Bonusus Edition, which included viral favorites such as “PHATNALL” and “Nut Quick.”
As part of the XXL Freshman class for 2023, GloRilla joined Finesse2 Times, Luh Tyler, Lola Brooke, Central Cee, Rob49, and others on Wednesday (June 21). There’s no doubt that the achievement will serve as an appetizer for new music to come out in the weeks and months to come.

A new single from GloRilla was released on Tuesday (May 23), entitled “Lick Or Sum,” a remix of Juicy J’s “Slob on My Knob” that is just as tough and hard-hitting as the original.
“Lick Or Sum” also features a visual provided by Chris Villa. With a twerking routine that matches the song’s energy, GloRilla and her crew are seen in various locations demonstrating their best twerking skills.
GloRilla debuted her debut EP back in November of 2022, titled Anyways, Life’s Great, and it was also the first official release GloRilla released because she was now part of Yo Gotti Collective Creative Agency. In addition to the nine songs that were part of that project, additional features such as those from Niki Pooh, Cardi B, and Hitkidd, made the album become the fifth most-streamed R&B/Hip-Hop album on Billboard’s chart. As a follow-up to the release of Anyways, Life’s Great…Bonus Edition in January, the “Tomorrow” artist has released a follow-up album. He added viral cuts like “PHATNALL” and “Nut Quick.”
A few weeks ago, GloRilla was interviewed for the show “Big Facts” and she spoke about the love and support she has received from her fans so far. “People seem to be able to relate to me because I am not changing at all,” she stated. “ Since I am from the neighborhood, I am able to relate to a lot of people, including those who are not from the neighborhood. While I have received a greater amount of love, I have also experienced a substantial amount of hate. My intention is to love people… I have never harbored a hating spirit because I know it is always a matter of timing.”

The Louisville rapper EST Gee first released the singles from his new project back in January, which were well recieved by fans, such as “If I Stop Now” and “Blow Up.” The Louisville rapper made some more moves on Friday (Feb. 24), when he released a new song entitled “Undefeated,” an emotionally charged offering produced by VenoTheBuilder and John Gotitt that showcases some tight production. Throughout this track, he confides about the struggles he has faced throughout his life, and how he persevered despite all of them.
“Also, as part of EST Gee’s “Undefeated” project, he has released a video that shows him taking part in Future’s “One Big Party Tour,” which included shots that showed him on stage in front of packed crowds, interacting with Kodak Black and Babyface Ray, and connecting with others in the industry. As the clip ends, he and his crew are reunited with a friend who was just released from prison and he welcomes him back as part of his crew.
As for EST Gee, he had an excellent year in 2022, beginning with Last Ones Left, his collaborative project with CMG artist 42 Dugg. It was not long after this recording that he and his Detroit counterpart would join every other member of Yo Gotti’s collective for the compilation that has been well received: Gangsta Art. As a final note, the songwriter of the hit song “Blood” closed out the year with his official debut LP, I Never Felt Nun, on which 21 different tracks were featured, as well as features from Machine Gun Kelly, Future, Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, and Jeezy. The project reached the No. 8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, which is the highest it has ever reached in his career.
