According to our latest information, CMG (Collective Music Group) is still in the process of taking over the label. Despite his incarceration, Mozzy would not let his incarceration hold him back from seeing the light of day when the second quarter of 2023 comes around. As a rapper, Mozzy has always been a menace, but after Kendrick Lamar gave him an award at the 60th Grammy Awards, Mozzy started putting a whole lot of pressure on him to make a good rap song.
Over the course of more than a decade, the Sacramento rapper has consistently released hot singles. Whether you believe it or not, many people would say that he is among the hardest west coast artists to ever come out of the region. Despite some of his music being overlooked by some to an extent, he will never let that stop him from making quality street music each and every time he performs. As of today (Apr. 7), KOLLECT KALL is out for all to hear.
With KOLLECT KALL, Mozzy releases his 21st EP and the follow-up to last year’s Survivor’s Guilt. After turning himself in to the feds to serve a one year sentence in 2022, the CMG rapper found himself at a crossroads of his career. His plea to a charge of possessing a firearm by a felon convicted of a felony was accepted by the court. As Mozzy began his sentence last July, it is now just a few months before his official return to the United States.
In spite of the fact that it is likely that we will have to wait quite some time before we hear Mozzy’s next full length project, he has delivered fans this new EP to hold them over until then. It was revealed that he was working on the project ahead of the release of his latest single, “Free All The Lifers” which was released alongside a brief trailer that included a phone call from the singer.

It is with a heavy heart that we report on an incident that took place in a Houston-area high school. A history teacher reportedly used a Black student to discuss selling slaves during class. This is an absolutely unacceptable use of a student in the classroom, and it highlights the need for more sensitivity and awareness when teaching about such a sensitive topic.
The incident took place at Kahla Middle School in Houston, where the student was allegedly asked by the teacher to stand up and be “auctioned off” as part of a lesson on slavery. The student’s mother Tori Ards spoke to a local news station ABC 13, saying that her daughter was “humiliated” by the experience.
Many feel that this incident is just another example of the racism that still exists in our society. Some are calling for the teacher to be fired, while others are calling for more sensitivity training for all staff members.
It’s clear that this incident has struck a nerve with many people. The question now is how will the school district respond? Will they take action to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again?
The school district released a statement saying they are investigating the incident and taking appropriate action. They also said that they do not condone this type of behavior in the classroom. This is a deeply troubling incident, and our thoughts are with the student and his family.
In the United States, racism has always been a factor in education. From segregated schools to the achievement gap, race has played a role in how students are treated and what opportunities they have.
This is just one example of how racism can impact education. It can create an environment where students of color feel unwelcome, unsafe, and like they don’t belong. This can lead to them feeling disengaged and disconnected from their schooling, which can result in lower grades and test scores. Additionally, racist attitudes and behaviors can make it difficult for students of color to build relationships with their peers and teachers, further isolating them.
Racism not only impacts individual students, but also the entire educational system. When students of color are pushed out or left behind, it creates a larger achievement gap between White students and students of color. This contributes to the cycle of poverty and inequality that plagues our country.
It is simply not enough to tell educators that they should be “sensitive” when discussing these topics. We must provide them with the tools and resources they need to ensure that their students are learning about history in a way that is respectful and informative.
We owe it to our students – and to ourselves – to make sure that our schools are places where all students can feel safe and respected. Only then can we truly learn from our history and move forward as a society.

As you may remember, Kash Doll teamed up with DJ Drama back in February to release Back On Dexter: A Gangsta Grillz collection of 11 tracks, in addition to which there were features from Babyface Ray, Peezy, Sada Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Lakeyah, YN Jay, and more. It was on Wednesday (April 5) that the Detroit emcee dropped a new video, entitled “LEGIT,” which was produced by Joseph McFashion and Dooder and features Payroll Giovanni, a fellow hometown hero of the Detroit emcee. A track on the album sees the artists representing their city while flaunting the wealth and success they have earned through hard labor.
In an accompanying clip for the song, Kash Doll and Giovanni are shown living life to the fullest in a bank, a restaurant, and a nightclub in the clip for “LEGIT.” This can be observed while authorities are spotted doing surveillance for reasons still unknown to the public.
Since Kash Doll released her debut LP, Stacked, four years ago, it has been a long road. Among the 17 songs on that project, there were also 17 assists, which came from artists such as Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Summer Walker, and Teyana Taylor. Having released several albums since then, she has continued to gain momentum with each release with loose tracks such as “Bossa Nova” created by Tee Grizzley, “Bad Azz” with DJ Infamous, “Nervous,” “Wake Up” produced by Zaytoven and Vezzo , “Like A Pro” by Juicy J, and “Single & Happy” with Wale and Eric Bellinger. Besides the songs of peers such as Saweetie and Dream Doll, the special brand of bars that he uses in “BMF” can also be heard in songs by his peers.

The Just For Clarity 2 EP by Blxst was released at the beginning of March, following the same-named two-pack from 2021. On top of the four songs included on the album, special guest appearances were made by Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Larry June, and Terrace Martin, and the last of these guests appeared on the album’s lead single, “Keep Calling.”
Today (April 6th), the California-bred singer Blxst debuted the latest visual from her upcoming album, which is a remix of Roddy’s recent single “Passionate.” Shot by Mayowa and Blu, the newly released video alternates between scenes of sold-out crowds, luxury vehicles, and panoramic views of Los Angeles. As Roddy begins his verse on the track, Blxst makes it clear that he loves the journey.
There was just Before You Go in April 2022, just prior to Just For Clarity 2, which featured appearances from artists such as Grandmaster Vic, Arin Ray, and Rick Ross. As of 2020, No Love Lost was the first EP he released, which originally contained eight featureless tracks, until he introduced twelve new tracks onto the scene. As months went on, he would circle back to release a deluxe edition of the album, which would include guest features from Ty Dolla $ign, Dom Kennedy, Tyga, and Bino Rideaux.
