LAPD sergeant sues as he was reprimanded for posts about Nipsey Hussle

The LAPD is being sued by a sergeant named Joel Sydanmaa, as he was reprimanded  for the comments he made on Facebook and Instagram regarding the shooting of  Nipsey Hussle and other sensitive topics. A federal lawsuit has been filed by him in  U.S. District Court, and he stated that he was reprimanded twice and suspended  following his remarks about the death of the late rapper, Muslims, as well as comments on women who made sexual assault allegations against Brett M.  Kavanaugh. He claimed that he has “never done anything improper on the job,” but he was in trouble for “expressing his opinions, as a private citizen, while off-duty, on his  personal social media accounts, about matters of public concern.

KYLE RITTENHOUSE RELEASED FROM PRISON

The 17-year-old teenager, Kyle Rittenhouse, who was charged after he fatally shot two protestors participating in a demonstration against the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin was released from custody on $2 million bond. It was on November 20 that the bail for Rittenhouse was posted by his lawyer. He is facing several charges such as reckless endangerment, intentional homicide and being a minor in possession of a firearm. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec.3.

R. Kelly’s sex trafficking and racketeering to be held in April

The trial of R. Kelly, related to sex trafficking and racketeering will nows be held in  early April, as it was announced on Thursday (Nov. 19) according to a judge ruling.  This case is related to federal charges against the singer in Brooklyn. He is being  prosecuted in three different cities. It was announced that the selection of jurors for  the trial will begin mid-March, as announced by District Judge Ann Donnelly.
