In most cases, NBA YoungBoy returns quickly after releasing a song with more heat – sooner rather than later, as usual. It seems as though the 23-year-old rapper has proven to be one of the most consistent rappers in the industry, despite the fact that he is under house arrest at the moment. He therefore has greater time and opportunity to create new music while he is under house arrest.
At this point, one is only able to speculate as to how many unreleased tracks YoungBoy has in his vault; however, it is certain that they will be released in the near future. The Baton Rouge rapper has released “Richest Opp“, his latest project, on May 12.
Despite the fact that NBA YoungBoy just released his debut project Don’t Try This At Home just a few weeks ago, it’s unlikely that he’s bothered about “oversaturation.” As his fan base has a cult-like following, he has been able to maintain a high demand for his music and has been making sure that he comes out with it whenever he can. Earlier last night, a strong declaration was made by one of his fan pages on his fan page, and it caused a lot of controversy. “In the future, NBA YoungBoy will be regarded as the biggest hip hop artist out of Louisiana,” they said, adding an emoji of a goat to illustrate their point.
Despite the fact that many fans agree with the sentiment, others came to the defense of prominent Louisiana rappers with names such as Master P, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, Lil Boosie, Curren$y, and others. There is a saying that goes like this: “All publicity is good publicity.” It is true that it was an online debate, but nevertheless, many people were intrigued by YoungBoy’s new project, and it is worth listening to. A wealth of 17 records in Top’s arsenal allows him to deal with Richest Opp alone for the majority of the time (of course), however there is one collaboration he has with T.E.N. (with Rionfive) on “Chopstick.”

There was a new song released by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie earlier today (May 12), titled MVP, which features the talented musician G-Eazy. In conjunction with the current broadcast of “NBA on ESPN,” the song is available for download. Developed as a collaboration between GoodJobLarry and MD$, the track uses basketball references to provide a visual representation of the collaboration’s over-the-top lifestyles while boasting about them in the same breath.
There was a time not too long ago when A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie released his fourth studio album, Me vs. Myself, which housed 22 tracks and was assisted by the likes of Kodak Black, Roddy Ricch, H.E.R., Lil Durk, and more. During the first week following the release of the album, the Highbridge talent’s album ranked No. 6 among the album-equivalent units sold during that period, which makes it his fourth consecutive single to peak in the top ten of the Billboard 200. Within days of its arrival, Me vs. Myself was upgraded to a deluxe version, which included a bittersweet track called PnB’s Rock-assisted rendition of “I Need That.”
Over the years, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has maintained his position on the radar through loose releases like “Secrets (Remix)” by Mariah the Scientist and “No 808s” by Vory. Furthermore, he can be heard on dope cuts such as Tiësto “Chill (LA Hills),” DJ Drama “HO4ME,” Desiigner “PMR,” Tay B “Ask,” and Swizz Beatz “Say Less.”

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Nigerian rap artist NLE Choppa has officially released his second album, Cottonwood 2, a follow up to his debut album, Cottonwood, which was released back in 2018. Among the 22 tracks featured on the project were early previews of songs such as “Ain’t Gonna Answer,” and “S**t Me Out, “Champions,” along with the collaboration of Lil Wayne, who jumped on board to contribute to the project with his own verse. Throughout the track, the Memphis emcee channels his inner Weezy energy by referencing one of the most famous hooks of all time, the “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” hook:
The emcee NLE Choppa has previously released music under the name Me vs. Me back in 2022, a 16-song album boasting collaborations from the likes of G Herbo, Polo G, Young Thug, and Moneybagg Yo. His visuals from the recording have been released since then for cuts from the album that include “Trap Phone,” “Stompin,” and “Lick Me Baby.” The project serves as a follow-up to his 2012 mixtape From Dark to Light as well as his 2015 full-length release Top Shotta, which he released in December.

It was only a few months ago that Hit-Boy released a new project for the first time, entitled SURF OR DROWN, which included guest appearances from DOM KENNEDY, Nas, Curren$y, The Alchemist, Avelino, James Fauntleroy, and more. As well as accessing the instrumental versions of each track, fans were able to get the raw vocal tracks as well, which made Fontana’s latest album even more valuable to budding musicians.
In celebration of Friday’s release of his new visual off SURF OR DROWN, Hit-Boy dropped a video for “Just Ask.” On this track Hit-Boy provides an honest update about himself and his career in two quality verses, where Spank Nitti James can be heard offering some authentic insight into his life and career.
In the accompanying video for “Just Ask”, Hit-Boy and Spank Nitti are shown riding through the streets with the blue moon in the background as they run through the streets. On the other hand, the duo enjoys hanging out with two women at a house unknown to them while rocking fly threads.
SURF OR DROWN follows a series of successful joint efforts which Hit-Boy has been involved in over the last year, including Victims & Villains alongside Musiq Soulchild, Bulletproof Soul alongside Pacman da Gunman, King’s Disease III by Nas, and HITGIRL alongside Dreezy. During that same period, Hit-Boy also produced several loose cuts “Scholar” by 24hrs, “CHECKMATE,” “2 LIVE” by Offset and “Fire Proof” by Cordae, Are only a few of the many loose cuts Hit-Boy has produced.
