A “LEGIT” visual portrays Kash Doll interacting with Payroll Giovanni

As you may remember, Kash Doll teamed up with DJ Drama back in February to release Back On Dexter: A Gangsta Grillz collection of 11 tracks, in addition to which there were features from Babyface Ray, Peezy, Sada Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Lakeyah, YN Jay, and more. It was on Wednesday (April 5) that the Detroit emcee dropped a new video, entitled “LEGIT,” which was produced by Joseph McFashion and Dooder and features Payroll Giovanni, a fellow hometown hero of the Detroit emcee. A track on the album sees the artists representing their city while flaunting the wealth and success they have earned through hard labor.

In an accompanying clip for the song, Kash Doll and Giovanni are shown living life to the fullest in a bank, a restaurant, and a nightclub in the clip for “LEGIT.” This can be observed while authorities are spotted doing surveillance for reasons still unknown to the public.

Since Kash Doll released her debut LP, Stacked, four years ago, it has been a long road. Among the 17 songs on that project, there were also 17 assists, which came from artists such as Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Summer Walker, and Teyana Taylor. Having released several albums since then, she has continued to gain momentum with each release with loose tracks such as “Bossa Nova” created by Tee Grizzley, “Bad Azz” with DJ Infamous, “Nervous,” “Wake Up” produced by Zaytoven and Vezzo , “Like A Pro” by Juicy J, and “Single & Happy” with Wale and Eric Bellinger. Besides the songs of peers such as Saweetie and Dream Doll, the special brand of bars that he uses in “BMF” can also be heard in songs by his peers.

The new “Passionate” video features Roddy Ricch and Blxst

The Just For Clarity 2 EP by Blxst was released at the beginning of March, following the same-named two-pack from 2021. On top of the four songs included on the album, special guest appearances were made by Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Larry June, and Terrace Martin, and the last of these guests appeared on the album’s lead single, “Keep Calling.”

Today (April 6th), the California-bred singer Blxst debuted the latest visual from her upcoming album, which is a remix of Roddy’s recent single “Passionate.” Shot by Mayowa and Blu, the newly released video alternates between scenes of sold-out crowds, luxury vehicles, and panoramic views of Los Angeles. As Roddy begins his verse on the track, Blxst makes it clear that he loves the journey.

There was just Before You Go in April 2022, just prior to Just For Clarity 2, which featured appearances from artists such as Grandmaster Vic, Arin Ray, and Rick Ross. As of 2020, No Love Lost was the first EP he released, which originally contained eight featureless tracks, until he introduced twelve new tracks onto the scene. As months went on, he would circle back to release a deluxe edition of the album, which would include guest features from Ty Dolla $ign, Dom Kennedy, Tyga, and Bino Rideaux.

With his latest visual, G Perico declares, “No Do Overs”

The Hot Shot: Gangsta Grillz project was released in March by G Perico and DJ Drama, featuring 13 songs as well as guest appearances from Steelz and RJmrLA. There has been a new visual put out by the South-Central emcee to go along with the track “No Do Overs” off his upcoming project, an IsThatTrey-produced tune that carries a very important message for all music lovers.

“No Do Overs” is the latest single from G Perico and features him lounging in a trap house with his posse. He moves across different rooms during the short clip, reciting his rhymes while CGI effects appear in the background.

“Jealous” is performed by Ella Mai and Kiana Ledé

“Jealous” is performed by Ella Mai and Kiana Ledé

Kiana Ledé new single was released on Monday (April 3). The track is produced by VRon, who also produces Ella Mai’s latest effort “Jealous.” From what the title might indicate, both artists are revealing their insecurities about a relationship that isn’t monogamous on the track.

Kiana Ledé released her debut studio album, KIKI, back in the summer of 2020, which features 17 songs, including contributions from artists such as Moneybagg Yo, Lucky Daye, Ari Lennox, 6LACK, Col3trane, BIA, and Arin Ray. Within a couple months after KIKI was first released, fans would receive a deluxe edition, which contained seven new recordings and collaborations alongside Jacquees, Ant Clemons, and Gary Clark, Jr.

In one of her previous interviews, Kiana Ledé talked about growing up and how she built her career as a musician since she was a child.

“I am still young, so there is a lot to learn and a lot of opinions out there,” Kiana Ledé explained. “With the help of a big management team, myself, my producers, as well as a label, there are many individuals who are involved in the music industry, which is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. It makes me feel really blessed that everyone cares about what I am doing, but it makes me feel very scared too, as I want to sort through all the information… I think it is becoming a little easier now to sort through all the information. The best way to describe me is that I’m stubborn when it comes to my career, but in the best way possible.”
