It was announced in July that Nardo Wick would release a deluxe edition of his debut album Who is Nardo Wick?. As part of this edition, you will find 31 tracks as well as additional features by Lil Baby, BIG30, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, The Kid LAROI, Future, and more. A new visual has been released for “G Nikes” by the Florida rapper, a Versa-produced track featuring Chicago’s own Polo G. For the hard-hitting track, which focuses on making money, street life, and more, the following bars have been included:
A clip accompanying the song “G Nikes” shows “Who Wants Smoke?” This video depicts the rapper and his fellow inmates taking control of a prison complex. Near the end of the film, Polo appears with his collaborator for a lavish dinner.
An interview Nardo gave in the past discussed his transition from sports to music in the following manner:
As I explained earlier, I was no longer feeling it and I knew what needed to be done. As a result, I knew I wanted to become a rapper. In the early days of my rap career, I became aware of my desire to rap. As for football, it is going to take too long… ‘Cause if I were still in football, I would still be broke right now. I was hoping I would’ve returned to college if I didn’t make it.”
A highly anticipated Rodney Brown Jr. album is set to be released on Oct. 21 by RJmrLA. Fans have been treated to singles such as “Aye B**ch” and “Corner House with O.T. Earlier this week, the Los Angeles-born rapper dropped his latest single from the upcoming project, a song entitled “Special Delivery” which features Ty Dolla $ign. Joyce Wrice surprised fans earlier this year with her “Iced Tea” single, which was produced by Kaytranada. This weekend, Ashley Bone and Xavier Tera collaborated to create the official music video accompanying the song. In addition to elements inspired by her Japanese and Black heritage, the visual also features a number of other elements. A Kaytranada beat sets the clip’s opening scene as Wrice dances during a storm. She delivers her words over a few signature Kaytranada chords:
A debut project was released by Joyce Wrice in 2021 titled Overgrown. Producer D’Mile, who was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2021 and won the GRAMMY Award for Song of the Year in 2021, executive produced the album. Among the singles on Overgrown were “Falling in Love,” and “So So Sick” both of which were featured on Lucky Daye’s Table For Two EP. Among the 14 tracks featured on her LP were Freddie Gibbs,Westside Gunn, Masego, Kaytranada, UMI, and Devin Morrison.
