It is with great pleasure that we announce that Nigerian rap artist NLE Choppa has officially released his second album, Cottonwood 2, a follow up to his debut album, Cottonwood, which was released back in 2018. Among the 22 tracks featured on the project were early previews of songs such as “Ain’t Gonna Answer,” and “S**t Me Out, “Champions,” along with the collaboration of Lil Wayne, who jumped on board to contribute to the project with his own verse. Throughout the track, the Memphis emcee channels his inner Weezy energy by referencing one of the most famous hooks of all time, the “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” hook:
The emcee NLE Choppa has previously released music under the name Me vs. Me back in 2022, a 16-song album boasting collaborations from the likes of G Herbo, Polo G, Young Thug, and Moneybagg Yo. His visuals from the recording have been released since then for cuts from the album that include “Trap Phone,” “Stompin,” and “Lick Me Baby.” The project serves as a follow-up to his 2012 mixtape From Dark to Light as well as his 2015 full-length release Top Shotta, which he released in December.
It can be heard that the 20-year-old rapper NLE Choppa is not only releasing his own music, but he is also featured on a number of recent tracks, including “Krucial” Perry III, “9 Lives” by DDG, “Switches” featuring Clay, “FAITHFUL” featuring Macklemore, “Ostre Pestki” featuring Malik Montana and more. Also in February, the musician participated in the Grammy Museum’s Grammy In The Schools festival with a panel discussion and performance.

In a brand-new song that he dropped on Saturday night (April 15), Kevin Gates has titled “Do It Again.” With the help of Drumma Boy’s hard-hitting production, the Baton Rouge star shares his personal experience with the song while staying focused on his future goals.
In the year 2022, Kevin Gates released his third studio album, Khaza, a 19-track offering that featured a single assist from Juicy J, who collaborated with the rapper on the viral single “Thinking With My D**k.” After its release, the album rose to No. 8 on the Billboard 200 after selling over 40,000 equivalent albums in the first week of its release date. Throughout the past few years, he has been able to keep his fans fed with his six-track FYP EP and a variety of loose tracks including “Breakfast,” “Major League,” and “Trying 2 Forgive.” Additionally, he has been able to contribute to a variety of projects such as FL Dusa “Exhausted,” DDG “Love Myself,” Lul Bob “Brackz Yeah,” Finesse2Tymes’ “CEO,” and T.I. “Active.”
“Big Facts” aired an interview with Kevin Gates in which he opened up about his struggles with mental illness and how the illness has affected his life.
“I fought against it for a very long time,” he said in response. “While we started talking, I mentioned how I had been sexually abused as a child, and that was what led to me becoming so aggressive in my adult life… In the end, I realized that being able to learn all of these types of martial arts, and learning how to surrender, was what made me free. It does not matter what anyone thinks or says about me.

Latto Coachella performance was well received by fans and now she is back with a slew of new songs for her fans to enjoy. She has a brand new single, “Put It On Da Floor“, which is a collaborative effort made up of Squat Beatz, Go Grizzly, and Pooh Beatz. In it, she shows off her wealth and sends stern messages to those who criticize her.
I previously reported that Latto also collaborated with one of her peers, hip hop artist TiaCorine, for an acoustic version of the viral hit “FreakyT” just recently. “According to the Georgia star, on the Honorable C.N.O.T.E.-backed release, this rapper raps about making women move with us. “With these tweets, with these beats, diamonds go twitchy, hold my wrist up, and make her freeze,” he raps in the rap.
The year was 2022. This was the year when Malika Latto released the sophomore LP of her career, 777, a collection of 13 songs of her own compositions and contributions from other artists of her own tradition Nardo Wick, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Childish Gambino, and Kodak Black. During its first week of chart appearances, both Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts showed the album reaching No. 15 in the first week and No. 8 in the second week respectively. After that, she has continued to keep up the momentum and has released dope records. Some of them include “LOTTERY” by LU KALA and “FTCU” “P**SY,” featuring Gangsta Boo and GloRilla. The MC is not only known for producing top-tier rhymes for her own releases, but for other artists as well, such as Lakeyah, Chlöe, Calvin Harris, Ella Mai, Saucy Santana, Trina, and more over the past year.
