In this episode of ‘REVOLT BLACK NEWS,’ Rotimi, Dr. Wendy Osefo and Angie Nwandu join Eboni K. Williams to break down police brutality in Nigeria and the #EndSars movement, which highlights Black oppression on a global scale. Jaime Harrison examines his tight Senate race in South Carolina, and Cori Bush discusses her potential election, which would make her the first Black woman from Missouri in the U.S. House of Representatives. Plus, Tezlyn Figaro, Shermichael Singleton and Kamau Marshall make their general election predictions between Trump and Biden less than one week away from Election Day, Nov. 3.
Inspired by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ successful “State Of Emergency: The State of Black America & Coronavirus” town hall, “REVOLT BLACK NEWS” is a platform that is designed to report news from the perspective of black people,
for black people. “When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch ‘REVOLT BLACK NEWS.’” said Combs. “We’re here with solutions. We’ve already heard about what we can’t do, but this is what we can do.”
