Marshmello and Polo G collaborate on “Grown Man”

It has been announced today (March 31) that Marshmello has teamed up with Polo G and Southside to bring you “Grown Man,” a genre-bending banger produced in addition by Luca Presti. With this track, Polo G sets the stage for his lyrics which discuss financial success, the street life, and more.

In the past two years, Marshmello has released his fourth studio album, Shockwave, a 12-track offering featuring DJ Sliink, TroyBoi, NITTI, Megan Thee Stallion, Carnage (now known as Gordo), Juicy J, and more. After that, he maintained his momentum through a series of loose drops, including: “ESTILAZO” “Before U,” featuring Tokischa, “Party Jumpin’” featuring Jamie Brown, “Numb” featuring Khalid, “American Psycho” featuring Trippie Redd and Mae Muller, and “El Merengue” featuring Manuel Turizo. In addition, he has handled boards for artists such as Rico Nasty, 24kGoldn, ShaunTheKiddd, Young K.I., LIL DUSTY G, Oliver Tree, Alesso, and Juice WRLD.

The music of Marshmello was provided by ESPN during September of 2022 for the “Monday Night Football” episode during the current season of the National Football League (NFL). The result of this partnership of Polo G & Marshmello was the creation of a dance floor-friendly remix of “Heavy Action”, which has served as the theme song for “Monday Night Football” since the 1970s. There are numerous ways in which T-Pain shows off his versatility. The R&B legend released one of his most recent compilation albums over the weekend, On Top of The Covers, which contains his renditions of classic songs. It is expected that Pain will add his own unique twist to a variety of songs, such as “Sharing The Night Together” with Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show, “Stay With Me” with Sam Smith, “Don’t Stop Believin’” with Journey, and many more. A bit of social media buzz revealed that IDK is working on his upcoming album, dubbed F-65. “The F-65 world is my creation. According to the DMV star, it is a place for us to be open and honest, as long as we respect everyone in the world.” The project comes with a new track called “Radioactive,” which combines dance-inspired production with tough lyrics dealing with the realities of the streets.

Radioactive” also features a matching video produced with the assistance of Meeks and Frost, renowned British filmmakers. During the video, viewers are whisked away to North London, where they can see the “Electric” rapper hanging out with fellow rappers on a council estate during his free time.

In addition to F-65’s arrival, the album will be preceded by USEE4YOURSELF, a 17-song body of work that includes guest features from Offset, Rico Nasty, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, MF DOOM, Lucky Daye, Jay Electronica, and more. A few months after its release, IDK would introduce the deluxe edition of USEE4YOURSELF which would contain nine additional cuts along with collaborations with artists such as Lil Yachty, Shy Glizzy, Trippie Redd, and Royce Da 5’9″. It was at this point that IDK, who has recently been signed by KAYTRANADA, blessed the masses with his EP, Simple., to keep the masses engaged. Additionally, fans have been able to enjoy a string of well-received releases that include songs such as “Free Slime,” “Monsieur Dior,” “Coal,” and “Drive.”

The artist whose most recent solo LP was released back in October 2022 was Duke Deuce, the third installment of the fan-favorite Memphis Massacre series he began back in 2018. You can listen to a sample of Memphis Massacre III below. There are 13 tracks on the mixtape and some of them are exclusive to Memphis. These include features from Big Moochie Grape, Lil Thad, ATM Rich Baby, Glockianna, Dubba C, and one of his fellow QC labelmates, Gloss Up. Besides the release of the song, he also released the visuals for the song “Mr. Memphis Massacre,” which was released back in December, was followed up by video clips for various cuts including “GLOCKIANA,” “ANNA,” and “BUCK THE SYSTEM.”

In the week leading up to last Friday (Feb. 10), Duke Deuce of the Tennessee native released his latest offering from the mixtape, which was a new video for the song “NOBODY NEEDS NOBODY.” As the previous videos have been dark and eerie, the new offering follows suit with the same idea, with Duke Deuce being placed in a cemetery with his crew to chant the lyrics of the song.

Memphis Massacre III will follow Deuce’s debut album from June 2022, CRUNKSTAR. As part of his legacy, he tapped a variety of talented names for assistance during the creation of the body of work. These names include Slimeroni, Gloss Up, Co Cash, Rico Nasty, GloRilla, Doe Boy, DJ Tootz, Babyface Ray, Juicy J, JP The Rockstar, Lil Yachty, and Dante Smith.
