A touching performance from Monaleo on “Miss U Already”

It has been a hectic weekend for Monaleo since she returned with her latest offering, the powerful ballad “Miss U Already.” This powerful new track finds the Houston native addressing loss, grief stages, and mental health issues through her lyrics. As part of the release, Monaleo has teamed up with John Tashiro to direct a performance video featuring a choir that she personally hand-picked. There are some soulful lyrics that she delivers on the track, as she pays homage to those who have been in her life but are no longer with her in this world:

“A few months ago, Monaleo opened up my recording studio and invited my followers to record and sing with me, which is how the song “Miss U Already” came to be,” she wrote on her Instagram account about how the song ended up together. “From all the submissions I received, I scoured through them and selected the nine that you see standing behind me. They came to the studio, mastered the song very quickly, and amazed me with their voices.”

A viral single by Monaleo called “We Not Humping” made waves at the beginning of this year. In the months that followed, she contacted Flo Milli to perform the song’s official remix. A number of singles from the “First Draft Pick” rapper have been released throughout 2021, allowing fans to enjoy them including “Girls Outside,” “Suck It Up,” “Lock It Down,” “Draft Pick” with DJ Chose, along with one of her most heard singles, “Beating Down Yo Block.”

Chlöe releases a new rendition of “Surprise” in an acoustic format

Chlöe releases a new rendition of “Surprise” in an acoustic format

Chlöe released the sultry track “Surprise” in June. The song was written and produced by iLLA and Scott Storch. The singer released a live acoustic performance of the song on VEVO yesterday (Dec. 7), following up on her previous performance of “For The Night.” A sole guitarist assists in the freshly recorded rendition, which sees the Georgia-born songstress express her passion for an intimate night with her lover:

Since the beginning of the year, Chlöe has delivered a number of strong productions, including “Treat Me,” “For The Night,” and “Freak Like Me.” In September of this year, she released her first solo single, “Have Mercy,” a powerful track that she worked on alongside FNZ, BoogzDaBeast, Joseph L’Étranger, and Murda Beatz. Ungodly Hour is her second album with her younger sister Halle. It was her last full-length album before this one, and it is her last work to date. It was a 13-track project featuring contributions from such artists as Swae Lee and Mike WiLL make-It among others.

In a recent interview with ET, Chlöe spoke up about how critical comments can sometimes irritate her. However, she also works hard to make sure she doesn’t let them affect the quality of her work. “Being in this position is a weird experience, because as a human being it hurts when we hear certain things. In the same breath, it’s my job to do this,” she said. “So, it’s really up to me to set boundaries for myself in my mental state.”

With his latest project, Icewear Vezzo intends to ‘Paint The City’

I am proud to announce that Icewear Vezzo and DJ Drama had a collaboration today on the Gangsta Grillz production, Paint the City. This production includes 15 songs and features from G.T., Future, Kodak Black, Jeezy, Peezy, and 2 Chainz. The album was mainly dominated by the two singles, “It’s All On U” and “One Time.”

Icewear Vezzo is set to release his first full length album as a member of Quality Control Music this month. The decision was announced back in July, and has now been officially made public. According to the Detroit talent Icewear Vezzo in an interview he conducted with the “Breakfast Club,” which took place earlier this month, that partnership with Pee and Coach K lead to:

Last July, the band released ‘Paint The City’, a 14-song collection of music that featured contributions from two of the company’s members: Key Glock, G Herbo, Lil Baby, E-40, Baby Money, Lil Durk, and Antt Beatz. Two storms made landfall in 2021 before this one, Rich Off Pints and Rich Off Pints 2. On top of his own songs, the rapper behind the hit “First 48” can also be heard on some of the most recent releases on the scene, including Jim Jones’ “Backdoe,” Lil Zay Osama “41 Presidential,” Lakeyah “Giannis,” Blacc Zacc “For Trappers Only,” BabyTron “Can You Swim?,” and PGF Nuk “Shut Up.”

A new album called ‘Love Me Or Don’t’ is released by BSlime

A new album called ‘Love Me Or Don’t’ is released by BSlime

On December 7, BSlime will release his brand-new album Love Me Or Don’t. In addition to Booley and Persona Jackson, Future, Okky, and Toosii, the Young Stoner Life signee tapped into the talents of Persona Jackson, Booley, and Future. This was done in order to produce 15 tracks. This week, we were treated to the official music video for “Whippin’ It,” the track from the project that is helmed by Young Thug. The song features BSlime gliding over some production from AJ Stay Working to deliver a striking beat.

As well as sharing a bit about what BSlime wants to convey with the upcoming project, the “Changed Me” rapper also discussed what message he hopes to send. “Music is not my way of pleasing people, and I do not go through life trying to make people happy,” he said in a press release. “I won’t be able to satisfy everyone. It’s impossible for me to do so. As a matter of fact, regardless of what I drop, people will either love me or not, and this is the inspiration that gives the title its meaning.”

At the beginning of the year, the Atlanta rapper BSlime dropped several singles including “Separation,” “Opp Top,” and “Baguette” a collaboration with Persona Jackson. On December 1, 2021, BSlime made his debut on Young Stoner Life’s Slime Language 2 compilation LP. This album hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart from the first week of release. As part of the album, he also appears on Young Thug’s Punk album on the song “Peepin out The Window” with Future.

A new single from Dende and Deante Hitchcock takes you down to “Georgia”

A new single from Dende and Deante Hitchcock takes you down to “Georgia”

It was last year when Dende released A Happy Man, a project that included contributions from Chris Patrick, Bairi, Stockz, Jon Swaii, and Lakeita Valon. Over the past few months, he has released loose tracks such as “Block Me,” “Round Trip To Atlanta,” and many others. On Friday (Dec. 7), this Texas-raised rapper dropped a brand new single titled “Georgia” which also recruited the help of Deante Hitchcock for the production. This song was written by Dende, and he takes care of the opening hook, and he sings about the key factors ensuring a smooth drive:

Recently, Dende shared with us about her not-so-typical life of pursuing a career as an artist, and the difficulties that are involved in pursuing a career in the arts. It is no secret that I am a full-time dreamer. As a musician, I have to be dreaming in order to be successful in making music or to accomplish anything hard in life. The life I lead is not a regular one. I don’t want to say that it is normal at all, but it does not mean that you just fly somewhere after two days notice and say, “Well, alright, I’m planning to do a bunch of things to maybe get me a little bit closer to achieving my dream.” Most of my friends have jobs, and I think that they are confused about what we are doing. I feel like a large portion of my days are spent daydreaming.”

A deluxe edition of Hitchcock’s BETTER album was released last year. Among the guests on the original recording were Miguel, Young Nudy, JID, 6LACK, and St. Beauty. Upon returning to the project, Hitchcock released a two-disc version (20 tracks in total) featuring additional contributions from Jaelspeaks, Reason, Ro James, Kenny Mason, and Guapdad 4000.
