A new song by Rod Wave attempts to “Fight The Feeling”

Putting one thing Rod Wave is capable of doing extremely well – and that’s putting his raw emotions into a record with ease – is putting his raw emotions into a recording. As of today (March 31), the Florida-raised singer has made sure to do just that with the release of his new single, “Fight The Feeling.” The new single follows up what has been a solid year so far with “Break My Heart” and “Got It Right.” With this song, Rod Wave sings about what it means to live life while you’re hurting on the inside:

The highly anticipated album Beautiful Mind was released by Rod Wave back in August 2022. The album featured 24 tracks with features from songwriters such as December Joy and Jack Harlow. The singer, who sang the hit single “Heart On Ice,” spent the fourth quarter of that year on the road as part of his “Beautiful Mind Tour.” The tour started on Nov. 11 and ended on Dec. 21 in Seattle, where it concluded for the singer. On this tour, he will also have Mariah The Scientist and Toosii as his opening acts.

Previously, Wave released SoulFly in 2021, an album consisting of 19 songs with a single guest appearance by Polo G. SoulFly became Wave’s first number one album on the Billboard 200 with 130,000 equivalent album units sold in its first week following its release. After a few months, he released a deluxe version of the album, which featured new collaborations between Lil Durk and Kodak Black.

A new song from Juice WRLD deals with sleeping paralysis called “Face 2 Face”

Juice WRLD fans have already been treated to a number of singles this year, including “Bye Bye” with Marshmello and “In My Head.” A brand new music video from Grade A Films was released today (Dec. 15) for a track entitled “Face 2 Face.” Steve Cannon directed and edited the cinematic video, which is an artistic rendition of the experience of sleep paralysis. In the track, Juice WRLD describes his most intimate thoughts during a severe episode:

An explanation of sleep paralysis is shown at the end of the video clip in order to provide additional context. When falling asleep, one is temporarily unable to move or speak. As these episodes consist of troubling hallucinations and a sensation of suffocation, the individuals remain conscious throughout, despite experiencing troubling hallucinations.

Earlier this year, Juice WRLD fans got a chance to enjoy his second posthumous release and his fourth studio album Fighting Demons, which was released back in December. There are 18 tracks in total on the album, with featured artists including Justin Bieber, Polo G, Trippie Redd, and BTS member Suga. Due to the fact that 119,000 equivalent album-equivalents were sold in the first week of release, the project has secured the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. In later months, the album’s official deluxe upgrade was released, which added five new tracks to the original album.
