A new video for “Ain’t Safe” by Trippie Redd and Don Toliver has been released

Last week, Trippie Redd came back to the scene with the release of his latest track, “Ain’t Safe“, which was produced by Don Toliver. It has been a while since the duo last shared a music video, however today (Nov. 3) they have decided to share the video, which was directed and edited by Nolan Riddle. Redd and his new gang take a trip into an out-of-this-world landscape filled with a variety of otherworldly creatures and plants as the rapper spits a few bars about maintaining vigilance at all times:

This year, the rapper from the “Miss The Rage” song has been delivering a number of show-stopping live sets all over the world. He has recently performed at events such as Rolling Loud Toronto, Rolling Loud Miami, and Summer Sky Vol. 1, in addition to the fact that they also supported Machine Gun Kelly “Mainstream Sellout Tour.”

As we all know, Redd has been keeping his fans in the know by releasing his First Draft EP, a two-track bundle that consists of “Save Me, Please” and “1st Degree Murder.” Prior to the release of this EP, Redd had released his fourth studio album, Trip At Knight, which included 18 tracks and features from artists such as SoFaygo, Lil Uzi Vert, Drake, Playboi Carti, Ski Mask The Slump God, XXXTENTACION, Juice WRLD, Polo G, Sada Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Lil Durk, and Babyface Ray. In its first week of release, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 81,000 album-equivalent units sold, contributing to its top spot on the chart.

New video for “Ice Spice” from NLE Choppa.

New video for “Ice Spice” from NLE Choppa.

This week saw NLE Choppa celebrate his 20th birthday. This morning (Nov. 4), he decided to gift his fans with a new single titled “Ice Spice,” which was produced by Tay Keith. The song reveals much about the Memphis native’s current situation while making a subtle reference to a certain Bronx newcomer, namely:

“Ice Spice” comes accompanied by a video directed by Evan Water Wippin, and it portrays a day in the life of Choppa through the lens of Water Wippin Evan. Aside from his work in the studio, he can be seen watching basketball games, spending time with his crew at the strip club, and much more on the show.

“ Ice Spice” is the latest release in a series of well-received music releases from the self-proclaimed Top Shotta which also includes tracks like “Slut Me Out,” “Yak Flow,” “Little Miss,” “Set Up Story Part 1,” “In The UK,” “Apart From You,” and “Do It Again” performed by 2rare. In that same timeframe, Choppa has also contributed a considerable amount of work to tracks such as those produced for DDG, OMB Peezy, and Macklemore in the same timeframe. I don’t know what this means, but his last full-length album was released back in January, containing 16 hard-hitting cuts and a number of assist contributions from G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Polo G. Given his current output, we wouldn’t be surprised if we heard about another drop in the near future.

“Stone Rolling” is the latest video from Rod Wave.

At the moment, Rod Wave is preparing to release his fourth studio album Beautiful Mind, which carries the singles “By Your Side” and “Cold December.” At the moment, he is streaming “Stone Rolling,” a SephGotTheWaves, TnTXD, and Geo Vocals-produced piece that chronicles Rod Wave’s nonstop journey post-fame:

As well as a visual, “Stone Rolling” features the work of Eye 4. Keeping with the song’s subject matter, viewers can view behind-the-scenes footage of Rod Wave as well as a map illustrating his many trips around the country.

After its release in 2022, Beautiful Mind will follow 2021’s SoulFly, a 19-track collection that featured Polo G’s production on “Richer.” Rod Wave’s first album to climb to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart achieved this with 130,000 equivalent album units sold during its first week of release. Nine extra songs were added to the Platinum-certified album a few months after it was first released, along with notable collaborations with Lil Durk and Kodak Black.

Lil Durk and Southside team up for “Save Me”

Lil Durk and Southside team up for “Save Me”

Featuring Lil Durk, Southside joins forces with 808 Mafia for “Save Me,” which embodies the heavy, street-oriented sounds that make the collective one of hip-hop’s most prolific producers. This song follows April’s “Hold That Heat,” a collaboration with Future and Travis Scott that featured all three parties boasting about their rock star lifestyles:

There is no doubt that you are familiar with Southside’s hits even if you are unfamiliar with the artist. As far as work produced under his own name is concerned, the Atlanta beatsmith has released songs such as “Been Thru This Before” featuring Saint Jhn and Giggs, “Hmmm” alongside Valee and Lil Yachty, “Blue Jean Bandit” featuring Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, TM88, and Future and “Order” by Gunna and TM88. Along with his own work, Southside has also been responsible for classics (past and present) including Polo G “Young N Dumb,” Doe Boy “BIG OH REALLY,” Roddy Ricch “thailand,” Gunna “poochie gown,” Babyface Ray “6 Mile Show,” EST Gee “Riata Dada,” G Herbo “Locked In,” and Lil Durk “AHHH HA.”

A few of Southside’s biggest career achievements were discussed during a past interview with Complex:

The experience of watching my little brothers and sisters sing stuff I made, like beats I made or songs I composed. Once my mom sent me a text saying, “Yeah, you made that beat.” I felt like I had achieved something. There is no amount of money that can replace that feeling.”
