In the new visual for “Spin Bout U,” Drake and 21 Savage take a trip out to the sea

21 Savage and Drake teamed up at the beginning of November 2022 for their joint album Her Loss. This album, which featured Travis Scott as the only guest artist, went on to take the top spot on the Billboard 200 after selling 404,000 album equivalents during its first week. Eventually, it surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, continuing to gain popularity.

There was a big surprise for fans today (Feb. 24) as the two rappers dropped the official music video for one of their best songs from the LP, “Spin Bout U.” The new video was directed by famed filmmaker Dave Meyers, and takes place aboard what appears to be an enormous cruise ship. As the film begins, the pair go on a rescue mission to save a drowning woman who is at the shore during a storm. As 21 spits bars about his love for women, things take a turn for the worse and take a drastic turn for the worse.

As of June 2022, the Toronto-based star Drake dropped off his 14-track EP entitled Honestly, Nevermind, which featured many sounds that were influenced by the elements of dance music as a whole. Last month, Drake also made headlines with his back-to-back performances at the infamous Apollo Theater in Harlem which made him an instant celebrity. Drizzy is not only known for his own releases, but also for several guest verses he has turned in on recent projects such as “WASTING TIME” with Brent Faiyaz, “We Caa Done” with Popcaan, and more.

This D-Roc, Lastwordbeats, and ProdByBerge-backed offering is presented with a matching visual that originates from Isaac Garcia and is produced by D-Roc himself. There is no better way to watch NBA YoungBoy in full on rock star mode than to see him with beautiful women, fly threads, and even getting a tattoo mid-performance.

The rapper, whose song “On My Side” has been featured in Rap Radar’s recent cover story (above), explained in an interview with the publication why he decided to part ways with Atlantic Records after an extensive contract. “You know, I just wanted to try some new stuff, just to try something that I hadn’t tried before,” he remarked. “See whether I could gain more from label situation.”

In October of 2022, Babyface unveiled his highly anticipated album Girls Night Out, which was highly anticipated by music fans. The project featured a range of songs written and produced by some of the most prominent female artists in the R&B genre, including Sevyn Streeter, Kehlani, Ella Mai, Doechii, Tiana Major9, Tink, Queen Naija, Baby Tate, and many others. A co-production between Rika Tischendorf and Babyface was the production of Girls Night Out.

On Wednesday (Feb. 27th), the legendary hitmaker announced the release of the first video from his forthcoming album, the official music video to the single “Liquor.” Director Jean Estene directed the video, which features Ari Lennox in a cabaret show. Through the course of the song, she speaks about the need to set the tone for the evening with a little liquid courage:

According to Babyface, when it came to creating Girls Night Out, he took a hands-on approach to allow the ladies to shine. This is an approach he discussed in a previous interview. According to him, “It was a place where I was able to showcase the voices I enjoy.” He goes on to say, “I didn’t want to step on their toes.” When it came to my music, I did not want to age it. As far as I was concerned, I didn’t want to appear as a creepy old uncle. My intention was to be in the room and give advice, and that was all I wanted to do.”

It has been a while since Lennox released an album. Lennox’s most recent album has been highly anticipated, aged/sex/location music. A total of 12 tracks are included in this body of work, featuring Summer Walker, Chlöe, and Lucky Daye among others.

New song and video from Flo Milli, “Nasty Dancer”

A year ago, in July 2022, Flo Milli released her first full-length album, You Still Here, Ho? Featuring 15 records, there were two bonus tracks included with the project, as well as guest appearances from Rico Nasty and Babyface Ray, as well as a narration from Tiffany “New York” Pollard. The visuals for some of the cuts from the project have already been available to fans for the likes of “No Face” and “Big Steppa.”

The Alabama-born artist Flo Milli, who was born on February 17, returns with her brand new single “Nasty Dancer” which is accompanied by a video that accompanies this single. She has just released a remix of the song “Conceited” featuring Lola Brooke and Maiya The Don, which is the follow-up to the remix she released last month for “Conceited.” Flo raps about the importance of taking control in the new song:

As part of her “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Tour”, the 23-year-old singer also wrapped up the tour in November of 2022 with Monaleo serving as her opening act for the show. Besides releasing her own albums, the “In The Party” rapper can also be heard on a number of recent collaborations, including: “Asthma Pump” featuring Tay Money, “Snatched (Remix)” featuring Big Boss Vette, “Maneuver” featuring Lakesha, and more.

As Flo Milli explained in a recent Elle interview, it was important to Flo to demonstrate her versatility with her latest project. “ Many of my fans are unaware that I pay attention to their feedback, what they have to say, and what they want from me. The purpose of making this project different was to have it be a roller coaster ride that would take my fans on a journey through my personality and show them different sides to myself,” she said.
