On the Atlanta scene, Jeezy and Gucci Mane are most definitely two giants in the Hip Hop industry. Both of them contributed quite a bit to the game and in the VERZUZ battle, Gucci Mane revealed that he will be revealing a collection of his classic hits that has been titled Trap God Classics. Right from the beginning, the battle was very interesting and Jeezy finally won. Even Jeezy made use of the platform to release Recession 2.
Nobody will deny that Jeezy is a legend. It was in 2001 that he first released an album, but in 2004, he became one of the greatest in the area of Hip Hop. His mixtape titled Streetz Iz Watchin with DJ Drama kickstarted his career, and resulted in several other albums. His third album The Recession continues to be one of his most popular projects. Now, Jeezy has decided to unveil a project titled The Recession 2.
The Versuz battle between Gucci Mane and Jeezy will go down in the history of hip hop as interesting. While the music probably made you go back to school days, it was beautiful to watch both the Trap pioneers come together after several years of feuds. Although both of them tried to be nice, there was some element of friction for sure. Needless to say, this meant there was a lot of throwing of shade as well. While Gucci mocked Jeezy’s ice game and stated that they should do a jewelry Verzuz, Jeezy stated that they must do a real estate one.
