A new release by Boosie Badazz expresses the pain that comes with being involved in the criminal justice system. In the past couple of days, the Baton Rouge-born rapper has released a new track and video, entitled “Please Hold Me Down.” Boosie Badazz sincerely requests that his family and friends remain by his side as he fights for his freedom, referring to the ongoing case involving Young Thug in the song:
A dramatic visual accompanying the audio depicts an intense courtroom scene. In the crowd, his loved ones can be seen weeping as he delivers his piece, “Wipe Me Down.”
A 10-track album, Lines For Valentines, was Boosie Badazz last full-length release in February, which included features from Money Bagz and Og Dre. His previous studio release, Heartfelt, contained fan favorites such as “Always & Forever” and “Love All Gone.” Therefore, the rapper has already appeared on a number of collaborative tracks in 2023, such as “Domin” with Quicc Savo, “Know My Name” with Mac Hard, “I Need A Man” with Alexia Jayy, “Can’t Change My Ways (Remix)” with TTODBumpy Johnson, and more.

It is expected that IDK will release his upcoming album, F65, by the end of this year. Following the release of “Radioactive” last month, he carried his momentum through the weekend with the release of “850.” The Rich The Kid-assisted, future funk cut features a booming beat produced by BLWYRMND and SB Paolo, plus an accompanying music video that has been directed by IDK himself. Throughout the song, the Maryland-born rapper bursts in with a flow dripping with confidence that is flawless in execution:
Having released his last solo album in 2021, IDK was able to create a 17-song body of work that featured contributions from Jay Electronica, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, Offset, MF DOOM, Lucky Daye, Rico Nasty, and more. Recently, the rapper from the song “42 Hundred Choices”, has been treating his fans with a simple song. During the year 2022. A joint effort between KAYTRANADA and Denzel Curry, this EP also featured guest appearances from Denzel Curry and Mike Dimes. It’s been a long time since G Herbo released his Survivor’s Remorse album, but nothing compares to what he delivered back in November of 2022. There were 12 tracks on the first side of the album, featuring Jeremih, Benny The Butcher, Future, Gunna, Offset, among others, and even a few cameos from his sons, Essex and Yosohn Wright. In addition to the 25 songs on Side B of the album, the rapper added assistance from Young Thug, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more.
A brand-new single from the Chicago-bred rapper G Herbo was released today (Feb. 24), and it’s titled “Raining.” Diving into the song, the rapper turned to Murda Beatz for his production, along with Yung Bleu on the hook, to make sure he put together an all-star lineup for this track. In addition to an atmospheric instrumental, Bleu starts off the song with the lyrics which mention gloomy weather and dreary emotions:

The highly anticipated It’s Only Me album from Lil Baby was released back in October of 2022, which made him return to the forefront of music. The project boasted a variety of guest appearances including Rylo Rodriguez, Pooh Shiesty, Young Thug, EST Gee, Future, and others that were featured on 23 of the tracks of the project. As a result of its debut week sales of 216,000 album-equivalent units, It’s Only Me landed on the top of the Billboard 200, earning it a very high rating.
This past weekend, Diamond-certified rapper Lil Baby Gunna dropped off the official music video for the fourth track on his debut album, “Forever.” The new Fridayy-assisted video was directed by Cam Busby and illustrates a romantic getaway on a tropical island during which Gunna and his girlfriend are on their honeymoon. Throughout the track, the “Yes Indeed” rapper tells the story of a back-and-forth which takes place between him and his love interest:
Lil Baby’s second solo album, It’s Only Me, follows up the success of his 2016 My Turn LP, which featured Moneybagg Yo, Future, 42 Dugg, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Gunna, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez over the course of 20 tracks. During its opening week, My Turn was also the best-selling album on the Billboard 200, with 197,000 album-equivalent units moving during that week. After announcing the deluxe version of the album on Instagram, the Atlanta native turned around and released his hit songs from the album, including the Grammy-nominated “We Paid” and the Grammy-winning “The Bigger Picture.”

A bit of social media buzz revealed that IDK is working on his upcoming album, dubbed F-65. “The F-65 world is my creation. According to the DMV star, it is a place for us to be open and honest, as long as we respect everyone in the world.” The project comes with a new track called “Radioactive,” which combines dance-inspired production with tough lyrics dealing with the realities of the streets.
“Radioactive” also features a matching video produced with the assistance of Meeks and Frost, renowned British filmmakers. During the video, viewers are whisked away to North London, where they can see the “Electric” rapper hanging out with fellow rappers on a council estate during his free time.
In addition to F-65’s arrival, the album will be preceded by USEE4YOURSELF, a 17-song body of work that includes guest features from Offset, Rico Nasty, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, MF DOOM, Lucky Daye, Jay Electronica, and more. A few months after its release, IDK would introduce the deluxe edition of USEE4YOURSELF which would contain nine additional cuts along with collaborations with artists such as Lil Yachty, Shy Glizzy, Trippie Redd, and Royce Da 5’9″. It was at this point that IDK, who has recently been signed by KAYTRANADA, blessed the masses with his EP, Simple., to keep the masses engaged. Additionally, fans have been able to enjoy a string of well-received releases that include songs such as “Free Slime,” “Monsieur Dior,” “Coal,” and “Drive.”
