During 2020, Joyner Lucas released his debut album, ADHD, which included 18 songs together with features from Young Thug, Logic, Timbaland, Chris Brown, Fabolous, and King OSF. Upon its release, the album charted within the top 10 in the Billboard 200 chart and was certified as gold by the RIAA. In the same year, he released Evolution which featured contributions from Ashanti, The Game, Rick Ross, and more.

Due to the overwhelming response to the video, he decided to polish up the track and release it in its entirety today (May 5). In addition to being titled “Fire,” this new offering also comes with an announcement that Chomp 2.5 is in the works. During the newly released song, Russ describes the struggle he is going through with his loved one and how he wants things to work out:
