A new song from Icewear Vezzo entitled “GET ALOT OF MONEY,” released on Wednesday, January 18th, takes a deep dive into the rockstar lifestyle that the Detroit rapper lives in:
With a clip produced by CT Films, the video for “GET ALOT OF MONEY” perfectly complements the song’s boastful subject matter with shots of women, money, and jewelry, all of which are produced by CT Films. Also, Vezzo is capable of delivering his rhymes in a liquor store and next to a Rolls-Royce while delivering his rhymes from within a liquor store.
Earlier this year, Icewear Vezzo teamed up with DJ Drama for a mixtape called Paint The City, backed by Gangsta Grillz and produced by Kara DioGuardi. That project included notable collaborations alongside Peezy, Future, 2 Chainz, Kodak Black, GT, and Jeezy on a total of 15 tracks. In addition, 2022 has also seen the release of the third installment in the Rich Off Pints series of the Quality Control talent.
According to Icewear Vezzo, in a past interview with “Big Facts,” he explained that despite a past attempt at prison, he found it beneficial to himself for the long term.
“My nervous system would have been thrown into complete overload if I wasn’t in jail,” he firmly stated. “I am aware of the fact that I should not use my pride for this purpose. As a result, I know that I am in a position to control my pride. In the remote that I got for my stuff that I got the switch for, it has a switch for turning it on and off… It has been a very difficult journey, bro. I have been through quite a few messed up things. I have heard so many stories about it. I have experienced so many obstacles in my life that could have led to my resignation, don’t you think? I mean, I felt like giving up or like I wanted to give up and just give up.”

The Florida rapper, Kodak Black, released an impressive new track yesterday (Jan. 22) called “Maui Woop,” which is produced by Dyryk and sees the rapper taking a moment to reflect on his life and losses.
In addition to the track, Maui Woop also includes a matching video produced by Cameraman Chris. Kodak Black can be seen entertaining his viewers with a drink on the balcony. He also takes part in water activities, having fun with his kids, and more in the Aloha state. Aside from that, he is seen wearing high-end furs in an unknown setting with his crew of friends.
Kodak Black recently dropped a new album on the heels of his last effort, Kutthroat Bill: Vol 1, which came out last year. The record also included collaborations with the likes of Prince Swanny, NFL Tuewop, VVSNCE, and Lil Crix. Further to this, 2022 was a year in which the 19-track collection Back for Everything was released. There was no doubt that that album would be dominated by the smash hit “Super Gremlin,” a song with an emotional impact that was first released in 2021. In addition to earning a platinum certification on those two singles, they also reached the third spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. A prominent part of the album features a guest appearance from Sniper Gang’s frontman on Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed fifth album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, released on March 29, 2015. The album set a new standard for hip-hop with its own instrumentals and lyrics. During the week ending January 16, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers had the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

In times of sorrow and darkness, we look for light to bring us some hope. Today, that light comes in the form of NLE Choppa, who is using his words and music to bring together a peaceful gathering in memory of Tyre Nichols. The Memphis rapper hopes his gathering will help bring comfort to those affected by the tragedy and provide a moment of peace in an otherwise chaotic world.
This event was more than just a memorial; it was also a call to action. NLE Choppa used his platform to speak out against gun violence and call for change. He urged those in attendance to remember Tyre Nichols and all the other victims of gun violence, and to work together to make Memphis a safer place for everyone.
This past weekend, Memphis lost one of its own. Tyre Nichols was tragically killed in a shooting. In response, local rapper and Memphis native NLE Choppa organized a gathering in honor of Tyre. NLE Choppa said that he organized the event because he wanted to do something for the city of Memphis and for the memory of Tyre Nichols.
This event was an inspiring example of community unity and resilience in the face of tragedy. The gathering brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate Tyre’s memory and create lasting bonds with one another. We can learn much from these moments, not only about honoring those we have lost but also about how love and support can make us stronger when times are tough.

Earlier today (January 20), Ice Spice dropped a new surprise project titled Like…? As part of the offering, she has included six tracks, including several of her viral hits, such as, “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and “Bikini Bottom.” Taking its name from one of her infamous ad-libs, the EP counts only one guest appearance from Lil Tjay, a guest appearance on the track “Gangsta Boo.” On the said track, the 23-year-old artist Ice Spice makes use of the sample of “I Need A Girl (Pt. 2)” by Diddy:
“It all started when I made the song ‘Gangsta Boo,’ then I thought about who I would want to hear on it, really,” Ice Spice said during an interview that appeared on Apple Music 1 recently “On the other hand, I wanted to make sure this was a true collaborative effort. Do you feel what I am saying? I have been friends with him since last year, so I thought he was the most appropriate person to make that decision. We both come from the Bronx, and we are both very close friends. Despite the loss, I recorded the song before she (Gangsta Boo) passed away. Actually, it was just before that. I therefore agree with the statement. The timing was exactly right, and it was a very sad coincidence.”
It was not long ago that the New York-raised rapper made waves on the drill scene when she released tracks like “Bully (Freestyle)” and “No Clarity.” As the year 2022 progressed, it was apparent that she had hit her stride as she gradually released more music, dropping tracks like “Be A Lady” and “Euphoric,” which both were released at the same time. During the emergence of her new hit song, “Munch (Feelin’ U),” which was co-signed by Drake, she gained a worldwide following.
