RJmrLA releases new video for “Stop Playin Wit Me”

As of October of 2022, RJmrLA had finally released his highly anticipated Rodney Brown Jr. album, creating quite a stir among hip-hop fans. The 20-track collection of tracks that made up the album featured a number of artists, including Bree Carter, Roddy Ricch, Marcus, Symba, Cashton, G Perico, Joe Moses, and plenty of others. There were a number of singles that preceded the release, including “Special Delivery” alongside Ty Dolla $ign, and “Aye B**ch,” “Corner House” with O.T. Genasis and on which he raps over a sample of Usher’s iconic 2001 single “U Don’t Have To Call.”

I am pleased to inform you that the South Central-born artist returned to the scene yesterday (Jan. 12), with the official music video for his song “Stop Playin Wit Me.” RJmrLA depicts the hills of Hollywood in his new clip, which was directed by Keoni Mars, while continuously moving over production by J Drip.

RJmrLA was last seen on 2020’s Let Me Talk My S**t, an album that consisted of 10 tracks. This album included guest appearances from Mike Wayne, 1TakeJay, Bino Rideaux, Bree Carter, Joe Moses, Rucci, and others. In addition to his own productions, he has recently been featured on collaborations that include “What If?” featuring Rucci, “Evil Thoughts” produced for the late Drakeo The Ruler, and “Instagram” recorded with Joe Moses.

Related to this initiative, Roger Brown recently announced the first leg of his “Rodney Brown Jr. Tour,” which is scheduled to commence at the end of January in Santa Ana. During a previous interview, he elaborated on how he feels completely comfortable performing in front of a crowd full of people. It is on the stage that I am able to let go of everything. The only thing I get to do is become the superstar I wish to be and feel I am capable of becoming. I was always told that I was not an average person by my people. Those feelings were poured into him,” he stated.

The 14-year-old rapper BlocBoy JB decided to end the year in style with a new song called “You Left Me.” The song, which is produced by Cable Beatz and Karey Muney, features bars about money and violence, including:

It features a hard-hitting instrumental accompanied by a video by QK1Shot. The audience can be able to witness a well-dressed JB playing video games with an associate, displaying stacks of cash in a shoebox, and also chilling in the driver’s seat of a Maybach SUV while watching the show.

A couple of months ago, local hero BlocBoy JB teamed up with his fellow hometown hero, Tay Keith, to release the 15-track effort Bacc 2 Da Bloc, which included guest vocals from Pooh Shiesty, EST Gee, Co Cash, and SpotemGottem. After that, he teamed up with Collective Music Group and Yo Gotti, collaborating on their compilation, Gangsta Art, which dropped in May this year, specifically on the song “OK.”

There were also some interesting projects taken part in by the rapper, including a ‘Blocumentary’ series in conjunction with Keith Urban. The first episode of the documentary featured BlocBoy JB discussing how he first became acquainted with the decorated producer. He discussed:

We lived in houses that were just a few minutes’ walk from each other, making it possible for me to walk in just two minutes from mine to his. Whether I ran or didn’t, I would have been able to type crap in 30 seconds. Before I met him, I had never heard any of his beats, and the fact that he also made beats hadn’t even occurred to me. The fact that he was able to rap so well when I saw him creating in the studio was so surprising to me. Knowing they were my dear ones wasn’t difficult for me.

‘I Rest My Case’ is the new album from NBA YoungBoy

‘I Rest My Case’ is the new album from NBA YoungBoy

As a rapper, NBA YoungBoy has without a doubt been one of the most consistent rappers that have ever lived – and he is just 23 years old. In terms of the amount and rate of music he drops, he probably has the biggest fan base on the planet. This is because he releases so much information at such an incredible rate. Although the fact that YB is not willing to leave his fans hungry may seem terrible to some, he is not willing to do anything like that. There is no doubt that that is one of the most admirable characteristics about him and should be commended in any way possible. It is a suitable way to mark the beginning of the new year for the “Broken Hearted” rapper, who has brought the new year in the way he intended. Today (Jan. 6) the rapper released his debut album I Rest My Case.

This is the latest release from NBA YoungBoy. Judging from the looks of it, he isn’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. In addition, judging from the way that he is releasing it, he has no intention of ever letting up. It is his first official studio album since he signed with Motown Records in October of last year, and it marks his first independent release. In only the last year, YoungBoy was able to debut six projects on the Billboard Top 200 charts, including five solo efforts and one collaborative effort with DaBaby (Better Than You). The Last Slimeto charted four top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 in 2022, which is more top 10 albums than any other act on the chart that year. He also released four projects over the last two months, which include REALER 2, The Last Slimeto, 3800 Degrees and Ma I Got A Family.

This one is going to be a tough one for NBA YoungBoy, who possesses 19 records under his belt, but he is sure to set the bar high for fans worldwide by going it alone. The good news is that this will not be the last time we hear from Young Buck musically this year, instead we can expect many more.
