Apple Announces Apple Music Radio
Today, Apple announced two new live global radio offerings on Apple music which fans from 165 countries can now stream. Starting today, the flagship global radio station- Beats 1- is going to be called Apple Music 1, and two new radio stations will be integrated. To celebrate fans’ favorite songs from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, Apple Music Hits has been launched and Apple Music Country will feature country music.
Since the launch of Apple Music in 2015, Beats 1 has evolved into a radio station that is one among the most-listened-to in the world, as it continues to stream in-depth interviews with artists, global exclusives and premieres that are higher than any other platform, as well as unique programming which tends to generate moments that make the news every year. Beats 1, since its launch, has maintained great relationship with musicians and encouraged human creation and discovery – which is an approach that the three stations will carry forward.

Apple Music 1, which has high-tech studios in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and London, is always at the center of conversation pertaining to pop culture as well as artist-led programming, and is also the destination for artists across the world, where they release new music, break news, and talk to their admirers. Spearheaded by cornerstone presenters Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden, Brooke Reese, Dotty, Hanuman Welch, Matt Wilkinson, Nadeska, Rebecca Judd, and Travis Mills, and Apple Music 1 offers several shows from several popular musicians like Action Bronson, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Joe Kay, Lil Wayne, Frank Ocean, Vince Staples, and The Weeknd, coupled with latest shows from Aitch, Kerwin Frost, HAIM, Lady Gaga, Nile Rodgers, Travis Scott, Young M.A, and many more.
Moreover, several shows meant to celebrate Latin music from across the world is also featured on Apple Music 1, which includes a new show from J Balvin and listener favorites “¡Dale Play! with Sandra Peña” and “La Fórmula Radio with El Guru.” It also features best African music and artists via “Africa Now Radio with Cuppy.”
