YoungBoy Never Broke Again reimagines JAY-Z’s “The Story of O.J.”

Just last month, YoungBoy Never Broke Again released his sophomore studio LP Top, featuring 21 tracks as well as a couple of assists from Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne. This week, the Baton Rouge star chose to put his own twist over JAY-Z’s 4:44 cut “The Story Of O.J.,” as he went on about  his success, the drug game, Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae, and more. The visual was directed by Rich Porter and Krispy Kam and shows YoungBoy rapping away the lyrics around nice cars, high-end jewelry and plenty of smoke. The visual also includes CGI imagery of fire, brimstone, and skeletons.

Pope Francis endorses same-sex civil unions

Same-sex civil unions have been endorsed by Pop Francis in a new documentary that premiered on Wednesday (Oct. 21). He became the first Pope to do so. The feature-length film is called Francesco and it aired at the Rome Film Festival. The pope said, “Homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable because of it.” When he was the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Pope Francis supported civil unions for gay couples as an alternative to marriage. But this is the first time that he endorsed civil unions as a pope in Francesco.

More than 500 children have still not reunited with their parents, since 2017, when Trump started to separate migrant families. Lawyers who are working to reunite these families stated that they still couldn’t find parents of 545 children and also stated that their efforts have been slowed by the pandemic. Tuesday’s court filing comes from a lawsuit that was filed by the ACLU in 2018, on the behalf of a Congolese’s asylum-seeker — identified as “Ms. L” — who was separated from her daughter aged seven back then. It was as a part of Trump’s “zero tolerance policy” on immigration that these families were separated.

Recently, a white couple barged into a home that they didn’t own to question a Black person who officially rented the place through Airbnb. The video became viral on social media. The incident reportedly occurred in Louisville, Kentucky. The interaction between the couple and the person started with the white woman asking, “Do you live here?”

“What do you mean do I live here?” he responded. After the Black person spoke about their racism, the woman claimed that she knew the owner of the home, the renter then asked if they knew that the owner has rented out the spot, she replied, “He didn’t tell me anything. He’s selling the house — that’s all I know.” The couple also stated that the Black man was pulling the race card unnecessarily.
