Nas and Hit-Boy work together for the new video “The Tide”

In an announcement made last Friday (March 17), Hit-Boy announced that his upcoming album, Surf or Drown was scheduled for release on March 24. Furthermore, he confirmed the official tracklist, which includes appearances by Curren$y, James Fauntleroy, Spank Nitti James, Devin Morrison, and more. The single “Slipping Into Darkness” gives fans a peek into what’s to come, featuring Hit-Boy rapping over an instrumental composed by The Alchemist.

This morning (March 22), the producer released the latest preview of the project, a brand new sound fitting for the theme of the project, entitled “The Tide.” It is worth noting that the newly released song is assisted by Nas, who also appears in the corresponding music video. In recent months, Hit-Boy has partnered with R&B veteran Musiq Soulchild to release their joint album Victims and Villains, which was released earlier this month, which was produced by Racks In The Middle. Additionally, he has also managed to maintain his busy schedule behind the scenes for many collaborative projects throughout the year 2022, including Bulletproof Soul featuring Pacman Da Gunman and HITGIRL featuring Dreezy. In the meantime, he has released a number of well-received songs, including ones like “Amen” by EarthGang, “2 LIVE” by Offset, and plenty more.

The third installment of BlueBucksClan fan-favorite series was released in October 2022. This is the third installment to the series that was launched in 2019. There were 18 tracks on the LP, with Cash Kidd and Jeremih providing assistance. The visuals for the album’s tracks have been made available since its release, including “What You Doin,” “Suffer,” “Pretty Much,” and last but not least, “Flyest Of My Generation.”

The fast-rising duo, made up of Jeeezy and DJ, returned yesterday (March 21) to switch up the record a bit with their latest drop, “Jumbotron S**t Poppin (Remix).” This track was originally released by Drake on the joint project of 21 Savage and Drake, Her Loss, which was released back in November of last year. DJ handles the opening verse of the new video, as the screen flashes back and forth with snippets of footage from their recent performances as DJ takes the lead:

A few months prior to the release of the aforementioned Clan Way 3 project, BlueBucksClan released a new EP called See The Difference EP. It was a concise release, consisting of four smooth tracks, none of which featured any features. Within a two-year span before that, the California natives BlueBucksClan put out a total of seven albums over the course of that time period, including records like No Rules 2, Clan Way, Clan Virus 2, and more.
