Lil Mosey releases the music video for “Flu Game”

Lil Mosey releases the music video for “Flu Game”

It’s official that Lil Mosey makes a return with his new single, “Flu Game.” In his new track, Mosey refers to Jordan’s infamous performance in the 1997 NBA Finals, game five of the Golden State Warriors series. A video directed by YUNGTADA accompanying the song, which is a tribute to the great basketball legend from Seattle, features the rapper wearing his uniform as well as mentioning him throughout his verses:

The rise of Lil Mosey to prominence was fueled by the release of his Norths best album in 2018. This 12-track collection featured a solo guest appearance by BlocBoy JB. Double-Platinum single “Noticed” was on the project. With his next album, Certified Hitmaker, Lil Mosey was once again able to tap into the talents of artists such as AJ Tracey, Trippie Redd, Gunna, and Chris Brown. “Blueberry Faygo,” the platinum-certified record he had released on his first album, was the catalyst for his run and it went on to reach the eighth position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

An earlier interview with the rapper of “Jet To The West” revealed who he wants to collaborate with and who his dream collaborator is. “Drake. During my time in the military, I met him a number of times. I was in the studio with Preme when I was in Toronto for the recording. In the middle of recording, he pulled up next to me and started talking. My meeting with him in Miami as well as in Toronto showed me that it is very likely going to happen soon. This time I’ve got some really good stuff to give him. Eventually that will be the case,” he said, adding that it would happen someday.

“Nights Uptown” freestyle by Krept

“Nights Uptown” freestyle by Krept

I am pleased to announce that Krept blessed the masses with a brand-new track earlier this month (March 16), “Nights Uptown,” a Swan Sounds production featuring the South London rapper rapping about the hardships of life on the streets, the music industry, and the losses Krept has endured over the course of his career, was produced by Swan Sounds.

It’s not surprising that Krept & Konan are releasing their sophomore LP, Revenge Is Sweet, in 2019 as nearly all the major artists on the album are featured, including the late Cadet, Headie One, Stormzy, K-Trap, Wizkid, D-Block Europe, MoStack, and more. As a result, the album reached number five on the Official Albums chart and received a silver certification for its work. As from then on, the South London duo has kept their fans occupied with a number of releases including their No More Social Distancing EP as well as loose drops and collaborations such as “Trials and Tribulations” by Yungen, “Self-Obsessed,” “Who Wanna” with K-Trap “However Do You Want It” by Swarmz, “Pisces” by Russ Millions, and “Greazy” by Da Beatfreakz. Furthermore, they also represented their country along with S1lva, M1llionz, and Morrisson for the official UEFA Euro 2020 anthem, “Olé (We Are England).”

“Let Me Go” visuals shared by Daniel Caesar

“Let Me Go” visuals shared by Daniel Caesar

On April 7, Daniel Caesar will be releasing his much-anticipated debut album NEVER ENOUGH to the public. Fans have already had the opportunity to enjoy strong previews, such as the songs produced by Raphael Saadiq and Sir Dylan, “Let Me Go” and “Do You Like Me?.” As a result, the Canadian R&B savant returned today (March 15) to present the music video for the song it is currently featured in. There was recently a new clip released of Daniel Caesar running through a field symbolically never-ending, which was shot by Midman. There is a subtext in the song that croons about the tug-of-war that occurs between two lovers when they try to resolve matters:

Among the artists on Daniel Caesar’s last full-length release was 2019’s Case Study 01, which contained ten songs that included contributions from artists like Brandy, Jacob Collier, Pharrell Williams, and John Mayer. In 2017, he made landfall with his album Freudian, which had a number of major hits including “Best Part” with H.E.R. and “Get You” with Kali Uchis. He has also been involved in some of the most recent collaborations that have emerged in the music industry, including “careless” with FKA twigs, “Peaches” with Justin Bieber alongside Giveon and “Invincible” with Omar Apollo.

The “Japanese Denim” singer Daniel Caesar seems to have already hinted at what fans can expect from his next chapter in his career in a previous Instagram post, which hinted at the direction his career is headed. “Hi there, world. In spite of the fact that I was born a few minutes ago, I am already learning,” he claimed. “We are not supposed to consider this a new beginning, but just a long way from where we were before. I see a lot of myself in almost all of you, and I find it very reassuring. I look in the mirror. As there are so many things to discuss, you will be surprised to learn how close we are. For the time being, let us simply refer to this as the beginning.”

The new video for “BLANK” from DaBaby features Anthony Hamilton.

The new video for “BLANK” from DaBaby features Anthony Hamilton.

There have been a number of singles from DaBaby over the past few months, tying together a string of releases that seem like he’s building towards a new album. Among these drops are “YEA COME ON,” “THEY JUST WANT YOUR LIFE,” and “JOC IN ’06” And today (March 15), he has added to that collection with “BLANK,” which is a laid-back offering with an appearance from Anthony Hamilton, who brings the truth about a rumored relationship to the table.

A new video for Reel Goats’ “BLANK” was directed by James Rico and features the video’s adulterous subject matter brought to life by Rico’s brilliant direction. There is a shot that shows DaBaby with his lover in the lavish residence in which they reside. In the end, Hamilton is armed with a gun in hand, making a reference to Ronald Isley’s legendary performance in the film Mr. Biggs, a film in which a disloyal spouse wrongly mistreats a man. Quite simply, viewers will want to watch this film until the very end, no matter how deadly it might be.

There was a lot going on for DaBaby in the year 2022, which began with the joint project he did with YoungBoy Never Broke Again entitled BETTER THAN YOU. This project was a hit on the Billboard 200 chart as well as the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Charts, where it reached No. 10 and 7 respectively. In the following months, DaBaby continued to expand his audience with tracks such as “SHOWING OFF HER BODY” by Davido, “TOUGH SKIN,” and “WAITRESS,” “WIG” by Moneybagg Yo, “BONNET” by Pooh Shiesty. In addition to the follow-up to his 2019 breakout album, Baby On Baby, he also released Baby On Baby 2.

“Ma Boy” video features JID and Lute in the boxing ring

“Ma Boy” video features JID and Lute in the boxing ring

The official soundtrack to Creed III was released earlier this month by JID. In addition to Proximity Media, Outlier Society, Dreamville, and Frank Brim, the body of work was executive produced by Dreamville as well. The first taste of the soundtrack was JID’s and Lute’s “Ma Boy” single, which was released at the end of February, and has been one of the biggest sellers ever. In a video presentation that took place today (March 14), the two returned to introduce the video that goes along with the song. With the new visual, JID puts himself in a boxing ring as he fires off his signature flow, taking direct inspiration from the Michael B. Jordan-directed movie:

I was delighted to hear that back in August of 2022, JID delivered his highly anticipated album, The Forever Story. This project features an impressive roster of artists including Johnta Austin, Yasiin Bey, and Lil Wayne, among others. Additionally, this project has tapped into the talents of many peers including BADBADNOTGOOD, Mustafa The Poet, 21 Savage, EarthGang, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, and Fousheé. Executive produced on The Forever Story, as well as authoring and producing all 16 tracks, was longtime DJ and producer Christo, who had 10 credits to his name.

In addition, Lute has recently released a new album called Gold Mouf. There are 13 tracks contained in this offering, with appearances by labelmates such as Cozz, JID, and Ari Lennox, as well as performances by BJ The Chicago Kid, Saba, Westside Boogie, and more. In a short period of time afterward, he released the official deluxe upgrade of the album, which added six new songs, including “Like Wine” a track that appeared on DJ Drama’s D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape.
