EST Gee releases a new video for “25MIN FREESTYLE”

EST Gee releases a new video for “25MIN FREESTYLE”

As I mentioned in my last post, EST Gee will release his new album, MAD, on Friday, March 17th. The album contains 14 songs along with features from Boosie Badazz, Young Scooter, and Kada. It was announced today (March 14) that he would be dropping off a new single from the forthcoming project which will be called “25MIN FREESTYLE,” a MOZ, Robawithit, and John Gotitt-produced offering which has the Louisville star letting out a slower flow while still maintaining a very menacing feel that fans should be able to enjoy right away.

As part of the accompanying video for “25MIN FREESTYLE,” which was directed by Cash Jundi, EST Gee can be seen in a lot featuring a number of high-end vehicles along with some other characters. In addition to this, we can also see the rapper who recorded the track “Lick Back” with a few of his associates in the recording studio.

The release of MAD will come in the wake of 2022’s I Never Felt Nun, which is a continuation of two releases that took place in 2020, I Still Don’t Feel Nun and Ion Feel Nun. I Never Felt Nun was a collection of songs that featured notable contributions from Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow, Future, Bryson Tiller, and Jeezy. It is also becoming EST Gee most commercially successful work to date, with the 21-song album peaking at No. 8 and No. 3 respectively on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, indicating that the songs have been extremely well received.

New single from Kevin Gates “Trying 2 Forgive”

New single from Kevin Gates “Trying 2 Forgive”

A new song from Kevin Gates dropped on Saturday (March 11) titled “Trying 2 Forgive,” which is an emotional track in which Gates admits to his emotional and mental struggles.

Kevin Gates released his third studio album, Khaza, in 2022, a 19-track collection that included one collaboration with Juicy J featuring on the hit single “Thinking With My D**k.” According to Billboard, the album debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart with sales of nearly 40,000 album-equivalent units during its first week following its release. In the years since, he has kept his fans in the loop with the six-track FYP EP as well as several well-received drops such as “Breakfast,” “7:12pm (Freestyle),” and “Major League.” His contributions can also be heard on songs like Lul Bob “Brackz Yeah,” DDG “Love Myself,” Finesse2Tymes’ “CEO,” FL Dusa “Exhausted,” and T.I. “Active.”

As well as his sit-down with Khaza, Kevin Gates also provided one of the best sit-downs with Yung Miami that can be associated with his show, “Caresha Please.” In the specific session that lasted more than an hour, Gates gave the Floridian star detailed information about his sexual exploits and preferences, which included a 90-day ban on women who do not meet his Muslim-based standards and are not in conformity with them.

“Some women haven’t been taught properly how to clean themselves properly, so they don’t have the necessary skills,” he said. “They have no idea what a vaginal wall cleaning is, so they do not know how it works. The problem is that they do not know that tampons should not be used during that time. Inaccessible uterine lining gets stuck in their walls and causes odors.”

The “No Games” video features Angel, IQ, and Haile

The “No Games” video features Angel, IQ, and Haile

Angel made his return with the release of a new song in February titled “No Games,” featuring IQ and Haile. The self-produced album depicts the R&B veteran attempting to navigate a clearly toxic relationship.

Fans were treated on Wednesday (March 8) to a corresponding visual for “No Games” created by Ron Nengese. There is a great deal of dancing going on around Angel and his collaborators in this clip, as they are seated in different colorful rooms, surrounded by a variety of beautiful women.

Earlier this year, Angel released the follow-up to his debut LP, Woman. The album featured 14 tracks and features contributions from Giggs, Eric Bellinger, and Chaz French. In the following year, Angel released his hit single “Blessings”. In the wake of this release, he released an A-list remix which featured hip hop and Afrobeats heavyweights Davido and French Montana. Since then, he has remained one of the most prominent voices on the fans’ radar with notable EPs including his Teasers series and Quarantine, the latter of which was released in 2020 and featured five songs along with contributions from King Grizz, Chaz Marcus, and Slof. Angel’s equally impressive singles such as “BAD” by Wretch 32, “Deliciosa” by Elilluminari, in addition to a remix of Capella Grey’s smash hit “Gyalis” have raised hopes that Angel’s upcoming album supposed to be called Nine Lives will be released soon.

ArrDee and Cat Burns collaborate on “Home For My Heart”

ArrDee and Cat Burns collaborate on “Home For My Heart”

As reported earlier, ArrDee released a new single titled “Home For My Heart” on Thursday, March 9th. The song features an appearance from Cat Burns. The heartfelt number features Brighten rapper WhYJay, LiTek, Jake Gosling, and AoD, and it focuses on the struggle ArrDee has with finding for a balance between his grind and spending time with the people who mean the most to him.

Najeeb Tarazi, who is the director of the accompanying video for “Home For My Heart,” shares the visual for the song with Common People Films. As a result of the use of dual rotating screens that act as portals into different locations, the clip is a marvel of CGI, in which viewers get to see both the collaborators and the collaborators of the other stories telling both their stories and the stories of those around them.

The rapper ArrDee released his debut project, Pier Pressure, in the spring of 2022, a 14-song effort that featured some of the best features of the year, including production from Bugzy Malone, Aitch, Russ Millions, Fivio Foreign, Digga D, and more. Upon release in the U.K, the project jumped to No. 2 on the Official Albums chart for the first time, and it also passed the gold certification threshold. As a result of his evolution, the “Oliver Twist” rapper has released a number of songs since then, such as “messy in heaven” and “Hello Mate,” by Dan Fable and venbee and “24 Hours in Lagos (Freestyle)” by Tion Wayne,. It has come to no surprise that in January of this year, he released a well-received track titled “Loser,” a track that — along with the previous track “Home For My Heart” — is slated to appear on an upcoming album in the near future.

“SDS Fly” by Slim Thug gets a new visual.

“SDS Fly” by Slim Thug gets a new visual.

Back in February, Slim Thug released his newest body of work, Where Dreams Are Made, which is a nine-song effort geared primarily towards women, and it is the first of its kind. Earlier this week (March 2), an official visual for SDS Fly from that project was released. It references his nickname, Suga Daddy Slim, and exhibits a level of confidence and swag that has made him one of Houston’s most famous rappers.

It was DJ Young Samm who supplied the accompanying video for “SDS Fly” that begins with Slim bringing up an old-school Cadillac at an unknown location at the beginning of the clip. As you can see from the rest of the video, Slim Thug is enjoying a late night with a couple of ladies during the event.

As with BIGslim in 2022, Where Dreams Are Made features 10 tracks and is the follow-up to his collaboration with frequent collaborator and fellow Texan Le$, who appeared on the release. He also contributed his special style of bars to a number of other songs in that same year, including Blackmail “Blow Out Ya Brains,” Charlene Renee “On Pimpin,” and Propain “Gangsta.”

It has been reported previously that Thug was one of many who were affected by COVID-19 during the peak of the pandemic and he was one of those who passed away. As soon as the rapper realized he had contracted the virus, Slim Thug sent out a message to his fans, letting them know that he was coming out of the illness. You have to take this stuff seriously, y’all. On social media, he warned the public to stay at home, to keep themselves in self-quarantine, to not go out for however long they asked. “I would advise you to go to a doctor if you’re suffering from symptoms or if you’re feeling sick… There is no doubt that y’all ought to take it seriously, it’s a real thing out here.”
