It was announced today (April 7) that DJ Holiday will release a new single entitled “No Stress” that will feature Wiz Khalifa and O.T. Genasis. Keeping above the nonsense and enjoying life is the key message behind the infectious drop, as the title makes clear.
This collaboration was announced in a recent press release by DJ Holiday, who described how it came together.
“O.T has always been one of my favorites, and I always told him that whenever he came to Atlanta, we would make sure we got a chance to get one in,” he added. “The beat I sent him was destroyed by his hook, so I thought it would be instant heat… As far as I know, my Pittsburgh big dog, Wiz Khalifa, is missing! ”
YS on The Track, a New Jersey based talent who provided the booming production for the song, was also mentioned by him. “For weeks, I had been listening to that beat on the radio, but I really wasn’t sure how to use it. There is a flute on it, and I found myself mesmerized by it, and I couldn’t decide to who to give it to,” the HOT 107.9 host revealed.
“There’s No Stress” follows the Atlanta-based DJ’s string of notable releases this year, including “Wassup Wid It” featuring 2 Chainz, “Flexin” featuring Future, T.I., Meek Mill, and Stuey Rock, and “2 Seater” featuring Quavo and 21 Savage. It is to be hoped that DJ Holiday will be able to deliver even more before the end of 2023.

In his ongoing efforts to put a stamp on Takeoff’s legacy, Quavo continues to lift up the legacy of Takeoff as he nears the release of his sophomore solo album, Rocket Power. As some fans have been looking forward to a follow-up to Quavo Huncho, the up-and-coming project is expected to drop sometime this summer.
In an interview with Insider published earlier this week, Quavo confirmed the album was dedicated to Takeoff. “As far as i am concerned, I am fueled by The Rocket,” he told XXL in an interview with the publication on April 5th, referring to the late rapper’s nicknameThe release date for this project has not been disclosed at this time. My apologies, but I am certain that hip-hop fans are still struggling with the loss of Takeoff in such a tragic manner. As a matter of fact, only five months have passed since the Migos group member lost his life in a shooting during a private party in Houston, Texas, which left others injured as well.
Quavo released a heartfelt tribute to the 28-year-old rapper following a memorial service for the artist. In it, The Last Rocket emcee was referred to as the angel of his life due to the way he treated him. It wasn’t until January that the lyricist further expressed his heartbreak through his tune, “Without You.”
The 32-year-old is not only paying homage to a late cultural trendsetter by making music, but he is doing it in countless other ways as well. During the Grammy Awards in February, Quavo returned to the stage to perform for the first time since the tragic passing of Takeoff at the Grammy Awards. There was a noticeable difference in his appearance, as he wore a mask that covered part of his right side of the face with the left part showing. As it turned out, that was also a nod to his nephew, as it turned out to be another nod to him.
“The loss of my other half symbolizes the loss of my whole. I want my performance to be a reminder of his presence with me in every way,” he explained. On the latest release from Huncho, “Honey Bun,” he mentions the mask throughout the song when he raps, “I don’t know how you can come outside without your mask on? / It’s because they want to see my emotions, I am not smiling at all.”
While he has become less inclined to smile these days, it was evident that he was delighted to be able to join his Praise This castmates for the world premiere on April 3 in Atlanta, Georgia. The movie, which is currently available on Peacock, is a feature film in which he plays Ty, one of the love interests of Chloë Bailey’s character, Sam.

Scar Lip will not be playing games with her city when it comes to what she wants. On the first of February, the Bronx-born, Brooklyn-raised emcee just released a new single entitled “This Is New York,” one of his most aggressive efforts that he drew inspiration from the late legend DMX. It is for this reason that Scar Lip was able to take advantage of the booming production in order to send a harsh message both to tourists and paralyzed residents.
“That’s New York” offers a vibrant visual accompaniment courtesy of WhoTheWizz that complements the track perfectly. As viewers watch the documentary, they will see the rising star mobbing heavily in various parts of Harlem, such as on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and near the St. Nicholas Houses. Overall, Scar Lip’s music is a mixture of raw energy and gangsta rap, so it’s reminiscent of what was heard during the late ’90s and early ’00s among gangsta rappers.
She revealed in a recent interview with No Jumper (above) that the name Scar Lip was given due to a tragic event.
“On the day of my aunt’s visit, I was going to a football game with my friends, and she was basically telling me to get home at a certain time so that we could meet. It is our policy not to allow you access if you are not at home.” She began. “Although it was supposed to be my responsibility to arrive back earlier than the time I was suppose to arrive back. They responded by acting as if they were not home when I requested that they open the door.”
As soon as she was turned away, an older brother accosted her and demanded money from her. As a result of several refusals, physical contact was required. “After he punched me, I fell backward and began to see stars, then I passed out. It was in the street that I awoke. My mouth bled, blood was everywhere.”

There was a new single drop by Drake back in March, which was premiered on his SiriusXM radio station Sound 42. This track is titled “Search & Rescue,” was produced by Sad Pony, BNYX, as well as 40, and features a sample of the audio from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that contains audio from Kim Kardashian’s highly publicized divorce. Regarding the overall subject matter of Drake’s song, it can be heard that he is harmonizing about what he thinks would make a good relationship.
Streaming of “Search & Rescue” on all major streaming platforms becomes official today (April 7). Considering that other songs have emerged over the past few months, it would be safe to say that there will be plenty more to come, such as a full-length album to enjoy in the near future.
As June 2022 drew to a close, Drake surprised the world with the release of his 7th studio album, Honestly, Nevermind. During this time, the Canadian icon began exploring more electronic sounds with his music. Besides 21 Savage contributing a single feature to the record, decorated producers including Black Coffee, &ME, Gordo, and Alex Lustig have also contributed to this genre-bending record. Due to 204,000 album-equivalent units sold in the first week of the album’s release, Honestly, Nevermind became Drake’s 11th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. As it turned out a few months later, he would reunite with 21 for the release of Her Loss, another chart-topper that featured tracks from Birdman, Travis Scott, Young Nudy, Lil Yachty, Elijah Fox, and “Big Facts” host Big Bank.

According to our latest information, CMG (Collective Music Group) is still in the process of taking over the label. Despite his incarceration, Mozzy would not let his incarceration hold him back from seeing the light of day when the second quarter of 2023 comes around. As a rapper, Mozzy has always been a menace, but after Kendrick Lamar gave him an award at the 60th Grammy Awards, Mozzy started putting a whole lot of pressure on him to make a good rap song.
Over the course of more than a decade, the Sacramento rapper has consistently released hot singles. Whether you believe it or not, many people would say that he is among the hardest west coast artists to ever come out of the region. Despite some of his music being overlooked by some to an extent, he will never let that stop him from making quality street music each and every time he performs. As of today (Apr. 7), KOLLECT KALL is out for all to hear.
With KOLLECT KALL, Mozzy releases his 21st EP and the follow-up to last year’s Survivor’s Guilt. After turning himself in to the feds to serve a one year sentence in 2022, the CMG rapper found himself at a crossroads of his career. His plea to a charge of possessing a firearm by a felon convicted of a felony was accepted by the court. As Mozzy began his sentence last July, it is now just a few months before his official return to the United States.
In spite of the fact that it is likely that we will have to wait quite some time before we hear Mozzy’s next full length project, he has delivered fans this new EP to hold them over until then. It was revealed that he was working on the project ahead of the release of his latest single, “Free All The Lifers” which was released alongside a brief trailer that included a phone call from the singer.
