It has been confirmed that Ab-Soul will be unveiling his highly anticipated Herbert album on Friday, December 16, which will be his first album in six years. The album has already been given a few previews so far, including “Moonshooter,” “Hollandaise,” and “Do Better.” However, on top of these samples, Ab-Soul recently dropped off another sneak peek at the upcoming project, a mysterious visual for the track he calls “Bucket.” In the short video clip, Ab-Soul appears to be pulling into a liquor store and picking up someone while spitting his bars:
Aside from the cover artwork and track listing, the “Gang’Nem” rapper also revealed the official album artwork last week. A total of 18 songs will be featured by Herbert. This includes collaborations with Zacari, Big Sean, Fre$h, Jhené Aiko, SiR, Joey Bada$$, Punch, Ambré, Russ, ALEMEDA, and Lance Skiiiwalker for features. In the meantime, production will be handled by a number of prominent producers, including DJ Dahi, James Blake, Sounwave, Hit-Boy, DJ Premier, Boi-1da, and more.
The last album Ab-Soul released was Do What Thou Wilt, a 16-track collection featuring guest appearances by labelmates ScHoolboy Q and SZA, Rapsody, Da$H, Kokane, BR3, Zacari, and the late Mac Miller. Since then, he has provided features and assistance on various albums and compilations, including Black Panther the Album (Music from and Inspired By), Jhene Aiko’s Chilombo, among others.
Two years have passed since Megan Thee Stallion released her debut studio album Good News, which featured 17 songs and features by City Girls, DaBaby, Lil Durk, Popcaan, SZA, Big Sean, Beyoncé, 2 Chainz, and Young Thug. After 100,000 first-week album equivalents were sold, Good News peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 – Meg also achieved Platinum status for the album.
There has been an influx of releases from the Houston talent since then, including the mixtape Something For The Hotties, as well as loose cuts such as “Sweetest Pie” and “Plan B.” Other songs she has appeared on include Ariana Grande “34+35 (Remix),” Lil Nas X “DOLLA SIGN SLIME,” Juicy J “SHE GON POP IT,” Maroon 5 “Beautiful Mistakes,” Lil Baby “On Me (Remix),” Bankroll Freddie “Pop It,” DJ Khaled “I DID IT,” DJ Snake “SG,” and Shenseea “Lick.”
A new single from Megan Thee Stallion, “Pressurelicious,” has arrived (July 21), featuring Future and the kind of confident, adult-themed topic matter that these two are known for (“I am stomping on hoes so hard, I’m knocking them out like Mario tokens”). The track is expected to dominate both the radio airwaves and club dance floors as with previous releases.
The VR music tour “Enter Thee Hottieverse,” created in collaboration with AmazeVR, has been in theaters for several months. Quest 2 headsets were used for the virtual event, which allowed attendees to watch Megan perform in real time. Additionally, they had the opportunity to enjoy Megan’s music videos and interact with other local fans. There will soon be a chance for fans to hear Post Malone’s twelve-track studio album Twelve Carat Toothache, which preceded the release of “Motley Crew” as well as the Weeknd-assisted track “One Right Now.” Today, he comes through with “Cooped Up,” a Louis Bell-produced track featuring Roddy Ricch. The pair look ready to go wild after spending the past couple of years indoors:
With the release of Twelve Carat Toothache, it will follow 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding. Thisfeatured 17 songs and included features from Halsey, DaBaby, Swae Lee, Future, Ozzy Osbourne, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, SZA, Travis Scott, and Young Thug. Hollywood’s Bleeding, like many of Post Malone’s previous releases, gained critical and commercial approval, resulting in an album equivalent sales of 489,000 units in its first week. This made it the artist’s second number one release on the Billboard 200 chart. Added to that, the project has earned a triple Platinum certification in the U.S. and in a number of countries internationally.
A few days later, Malone spoke about Twelve Carat Toothache in an on-the-street interview with Adam Glyn:
“I think this is my favorite work that I have produced, it has been quite some time since I have released music, and things to look forward to in the future is another Post Malone album (laugh).”
“Sweetest Pie” by Megan The Stallion is out today (Mar. 11). The three-time GRAMMY winner returns to the scene with a new single. It’s the perfect track to send fans into the weekend with something upbeat to cruise to as it features pop sensation Dua Lipa on the remix.
It’s an indescribable visual spectacle as the two stars are pictured in a wonderland setting. Given that David Meyers directed, one could expect nothing less than expert execution. Taking a cue from the duo, Dua Lipa opens the track with a signature catchy cadence amidst mystical illusions:
Megan Thee Stallion began keeping fans fed with a special EP in October entitled Something For Thee Hotties, which she called a “gift to [her] hotties” that would “hold you over for the rest of the year.” Her debut album Good News featured 17 songs with these high-profile guests: Lil Durk, Young Thug, Beyonce, Big Sean, SZA, 2 Chainz, and many more.
As for Megan’s other projects, she recently collaborated with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Lisa of BLACKPINK on “SG,” and also remixed BTS’s popular hit “Butter.” She announced her partnership with Popeyes by launching her very own special hot sauce last year. The year 2021 also saw Megan appear in advertisements for Nike and Coach, attend the first Met Gala, and appear on the covers of magazines such as ESSENCE and Sports Illustrated.
After a long wait, Megan Thee Stallion has finally released her debut album, titled Good News. This project includes appearances from DaBaby, SZA, City Girls, Popcaan, Lil Durk, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and more. She has also released the official video for the song “Body,” which can be seen below. Just recently, Megan was a part of the popular hit “Thick” by DJ Chose. She also delivered her EP Suga, which included nine songs.
