Take a look at FKA Twigs newest video for “oh my love”

FKA Twigs unveiled her debut mix tape CAPRISONGS in January, which included 17 genre-bending songs alongside help from artists including Pa Salieu, The Weeknd, Shygirl, Rema, Daniel Caesar, Jorja Smith, Unknown T, and more. Until now, the project has produced visually stimulating visuals for tracks such as “ride the dragon,” “tears in the club,” “meta angel,” “darjeeling,” “jealousy,” and “papi bones.”

Besides that, FKA twigs released a video yesterday (April 19) for “oh my love,” a Jason Scheff and El Guincho -produced track, which is accompanied by messages from Abigail Sakari and Suzannah Pettigrew detailing their experience of being on the wrong side of an inconsistent and lopsided relationship:

Featuring lo-fi footage of FKA Twigs having her nails done at a salon, Aidan Zamiri’s accompanying clip offers a lesson in self-care.

Relatedly, twigs recently released a short film called PLAYSCAPE, which has coincided with this year’s International Woolmark Prize, a prize that honors designers around the world (previous winners includeKarl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent). Below explains said film:

“Directed by FKA Twigs and creatively directed by Zak Group with choreography by Juliano Nunes, here is the final Lookbook for the IWP2022 collection including Ahluwalia, Jordan Dalah, EGONLAB, Peter Do, MMUSOMAXWELL, RUI and Saul Nash. Isamu Noguchi’s concept of play as a catalyst for creativity inspired Playscape, which merged elements of fashion, dance, and music.”

“Faking Love” is Anitta’s third global single this year and follows the highly successful “Girl From Rio” and “Loco” songs from the same year.

Anitta has released three singles this year, including “Girl From Rio” and “Loco”, which were both her most successful singles to date. This song has since inspired new mottos for 2021, empowering women to never settle. Letting go of an unproductive relationship is what Faking Love is all about. Anitta and Saweetie understand the value of self-belief and on Faking Love they remind women to reserve their power.

The duo’s song “Faking Love” is a bold breakup anthem

With the release of her latest single, “Faking Love,” She joins with hip-hop duo Saweetie to continue dismantling the color-washed picture of love that has been projected in pop culture. It’s what’s needed now more than ever. Sharing the new song on Instagram, Anitta and Saweetie aim to break down barriers that society continues to impose on the female community.

Faking Love is taking over social media

“Faking Love” by Saweetie and Anitta rounds out Saweetie’s impressive track record following a series of promising songs, including “Best Friend” with Doja Cat. In the near future, when Girl from Rio becomes available, it is expected that the single will appear on that release. Earlier this year, Anitta released a song from the album, the title track, along with the announcement of the project.

Dame Dash can tell his love story how he wants, in his new reality series.

A show named “In Love For A Living” is airing on the network.

Hip hop mogul Damon Dash will produce a reality series of his own. “In Love For A Living” places the Dash family on a global television platform.

It will take viewers into the Dame Dash home where they juggle parenting with running Damon Dash Studios (DDS) and managing other business ventures. Horne’s experiences with in vitro fertilization (IVF) will be discussed, as well as Dash’s health challenges.

Several of my shows have aired. Because the Narrator portrays me and our relationship in such a horrific way, I wanted to show what an amazing relationship is instead of focusing solely on the trauma and the dysfunction of our culture,” Dame Dash told Deadline. “I wanted to show how people can thrive in their relationships.”

Dash went on to explain, “‘In Love for a Living’ is kind of a love story about Raquel and me and all the trials that we go through together. It’s also sort of educational,” he explained. “We have covered a variety of topics that pertain to getting pregnant, IVF, and after having your baby, raising that child, or at least what we have been doing for him, as we have been shaping a curriculum based on these principles for him.”

It stands to reason that, as the owner of a television network and a streaming service, Dash would make his own shows.
