Memphis City Council completes its internal investigation into Tyre Nichols’ brutal death

The City of Memphis has finally released the results of its internal investigation into the tragic death of Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old man who was brutally beaten by police officers in custody. The findings are shocking and have left many people outraged at the blatant disregard for human life. In this blog post, we will dive deep into what happened to Tyre Nichols, what led up to his death, and why justice must be served for him and other victims of police brutality.

The report found that the officers involved in the incident used excessive force and that their actions were not in line with department policy. The department has taken action to discipline the officers involved and has implemented new training measures to prevent future incidents of police brutality.

The city of Memphis is committed to ensuring that all residents are treated fairly and with respect by the police force. The completion of this internal investigation is a step in the right direction, but more must be done to rebuild trust between the police and the community.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) conducted the initial investigation into the incident. The MPD’s Homicide Bureau and Special Investigations Unit were both involved in this investigation.

The community has reacted with outrage to the news that the officers involved will not be charged criminally. Many believe that they should be held accountable for their actions, and that the lack of criminal charges sends a message that police brutality is acceptable. There have been protests and calls for reform in the wake of the incident, and it is clear that the community is deeply saddened and angered by what happened to Tyre Nichols.

NBA YoungBoy releases a new video for “Demon Party”

As fans were treated with the release of NBA YoungBoy‘s latest release, “Next” just a week ago (Feb. 27), the rapper is back today (March 3) with his new offering, “Demon Party.” The song serves as another preview for the rapper’s upcoming Don’t Try This At Home album, which is planned to be released sometime this spring. “Demon Party” is a new music video by Afrojack that has recently been released, directed by Isaac Garcia and set in a snowy mountaintop full of ice and snow. Baton Rouge-raised rapper Biz Markie spits on his latest release about the thoughts that run constantly through his head all the time:

NBA YoungBoy announced back in October of 2022 that he had signed a contract with Motown Records for the release of his album. The Last Slimeto album was released by Slimeto in August of that year, marking the end of his career as a recording artist with Atlantic Records. On the Billboard 200 chart, the album was ranked at No. 2 for more than a week and featured contributions from Rod Wave, Kehlani and Quavo. NBA YoungBoy released several other projects as well, including five mixtapes and two more studio albums, in the last year alone, so he is sure to drop plenty more in the future.

Furthermore, the “Make No Sense” emcee was interviewed recently by Rap Radar, for an interview in which he spoke with journalists B. Dot and Elliott Wilson, in which he discussed his upcoming project, his career expectations and much more.

“Save You” is the new music video from J.I.

“Save You” is the new music video from J.I.

As early as this year, J.I. made his way back with a lot of loose drops such as “Black Roses” and “It’s Officially Done”, the latter of which premiered exclusively on Complex. As he continues to build on his momentum, on March 3rd, the New York City artist released a new song titled “Save You.” This song tells the story of a person needing someone to get them through hard times. Featuring a group therapy session, the short was directed by Derek Dreamfilms and Artixan and is set in a psychiatric hospital. It is only after he reveals to the group of musicians that he is addicted to pain that the 21-year-old rapper reveals to them his regret-filled hook:

It was in 2022 when the artist J.I., who is best known for his “Need Me” record, released his last album Young & Restless, Vol. 1 Baby Don, an album with 12 songs comprised an assortment of fan-favorites such as “Taken for Granted” and “Love Letter.” While this album was slightly lacking in features, it featured production by names like Whippit Up Sensei, Hagan, D.O.C, Chef Dior, Ambezza, GLVCK, CorMill, and more.

According to an interview with J.I., the musician spoke about what it was like to sell out SOBs, a famous venue in New York City, at such short notice. It was a very emotional moment for me because it was a result of hard work. The story of my life is a crazy one. In the future, you guys will be able to understand why it is that I’m so dedicated to my craft and why I go to such lengths to make it successful. I have had a long journey ahead of me. I find myself overwhelmed even by the fact that I am here. In my city, most people do not leave the city. At least, I don’t know of any people who do.” he said.
