A Black Man was paralyzed during police transportation

A Black Man was paralyzed during police transportation

On Monday (Nov. 28), five Connecticut police officers were charged with misdemeanors after a person in their custody became paralyzed during a transport. Officers searched him and found a small amount of marijuana, leading to his arrest. Randy Cox was then placed in the back of a police cruiser, where he was allegedly beaten by the officers.

He was later taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down. The five officers – Darrin Spaulding, Patrick Moynahan, Robert Lawrence, Joshua Lawler and Craig Chandler – have now been charged with misdemeanor counts of second-degree assault and falsifying evidence.

This is yet another example of police brutality against a black person resulting in serious injuries or death. In recent years, there have been many high-profile cases of black people being killed by police. Police brutality against black people is a major problem in the United States, and these latest charges against the Connecticut officers are a step in the right direction towards bringing justice to those who have been harmed by such brutality.

” The state’s attorney’s office released a statement on Monday announcing the charges against the officers, which include negligent homicide, excessive use of force, and reckless endangerment. If convicted, the officers could face up to one year in prison.

Method Man and Papoose release “Heat 7” visuals

Papoose produced new songs each month in 2021, containing dope cuts featuring E-40, Rick Ross, Remy Ma, Jim Jones, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, 2 Chainz, Anthony Hamilton, as well as many others. Stan Da Man’s production of “Heat 7,” a collaborative venture between the legendary Method Man and the New York king, proves, without a doubt, that these two continue to deliver some of their most accomplished bars to date:

A video for “Heat 7” featuring WillC and Tana shows Pap and Meth mainly delivering their bars in dark rooms, as different graphics appear behind them, matching the subject matter of the song. During the performance, the songstors can also be seen in a room filled with yellow tape, which is an appropriate setting for the lyrical assault that unfolded.

Meanwhile, Method Man was recently honored for the soundtrack to his smash hit “You’re All I Need” along with his performance on “Power Book II: Ghost.” Meth talked about the experience of collaborating with (and winning alongside) Mary J. Blige:

The feeling of working on something for so long and reaping the rewards is something I have never experienced in my life before. ’95 was the year I won the Grammy for music with Mary J. Blige. Then I got an NAACP award for acting with Mary J. Blige. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.”

Jussie Smollett “wanted me to fake beat him up,” the attacker says

Jussie Smollett “wanted me to fake beat him up,” the attacker says

Taking the stand on Wednesday (December 1), Jussie Smollett attacker Abimbola Osundairo aka “Bola,” testified about his role in the 2019 incident.

According to CNN, Abimbola Osundairo doubled down on previous claims that he was hired to assault the “Empire” singer.

Pleading to the charges, Abimbola Osundairo admitted he agreed to fake beat Smollett to express appreciation for getting him a gig on “Empire.”According to Abimbola Osundairo, he also believed that Smollett could help further his acting career

According to court testimony, Smollet approached a close acquaintance and opened up about the fake beat he was planning to execute.

Testifying in court, Bola confessed Smollett drove to his home from the Chicago studio, where the singer expressed his need for another person to help with the attack.

According to Bola, they concluded with Smollet that Bola’s brother be part of the plan, after which the three eventually met in an alley and discussed the details of the plan.

Explaining his vision for the physical attack, Smollet also included instructions to say “Empire, faggot, nigger, MAGA” as part of the plan.

Opening to Special Prosecutor Daniel Webb Abimbola Osundairo said that Smollett orchestrated the fake beat event. Expounding further, Abimbola stated that he received a $3,500 cheque, which was a gesture he didn’t expect as he’d performed the act out of kindness and compensation.

He also revealed he was also asked to write a condolence letter that would absolve him of the crime. According to Smollett and his attorneys, they argue that the brothers, who he suggests attacked him, are homophobic.

Serving a minimum of up to three years in prison is the sentence Abimbola will serve for allegedly lying to police.
