This afternoon (April 28), the rapper behind “4 Minutes Of Hell” releases his latest album, Strictly 4 My Fans 2.
The follow-up to Strictly 4 My Fans, which was released in 2016, Strictly 4 My Fans 2 is his first official release of 2023. In an announcement earlier today, the Quality Control recording artist Gloss Up released the official music video for the track “From Cross Da Way” featuring Icewear Vezzo earlier today (March 7). As we reported back in January on Gangsta Grillz, Icewear Vezzo teamed up with DJ Drama for a mixtape titled Paint The City, which was backed by the rapper. It consisted of 15 tracks and featured appearances from the likes of 2 Kodak Black, Chainz, GT, Peezy, Future, and Jeezy. He previously released Rich Off Pints 3, which is the third installment in a series he started back in 2021, which has become a fan favorite among his fans.
The highly anticipated new album from Don Toliver, titled Love Sick, has been released today (Feb. 24). This project features an impressive roster of guest contributors, including the likes of Brent Faiyaz, Charlie Wilson, GloRilla, James Blake, Future, Lil Durk, Wizkid, and more. There is no denying that the Houston native’s new album brings with it some of the highest quality music to date, including the track “4 Me,” which takes a sample from Beenie Man’s song “Girls Dem Sugar” that he sings about the love he has for his lady. In addition to the release of Life of a DON, Don Toliver had previously released his sophomore LP from 2021, which contained 16 tracks and featured Travis Scott, Kali Uchis, Baby Keem, HVN, and SoFaygo. As a melodic artist independent of his own releases, he has been active by dishing out show-stealing guest verses on some of the biggest songs out there such as “Don’t Go” with Skrillex, “One Time” with NAV, “Ain’t Safe” with Trippie Redd, “Honest” with Justin Bieber, and more.
The artist whose most recent solo LP was released back in October 2022 was Duke Deuce, the third installment of the fan-favorite Memphis Massacre series he began back in 2018. These include features from Big Moochie Grape, Lil Thad, ATM Rich Baby, Glockianna, Dubba C, and one of his fellow QC labelmates, Gloss Up. Besides the release of the song, he also released the visuals for the song “Mr. Memphis Massacre,” which was released back in December, was followed up by video clips for various cuts including “GLOCKIANA,” “ANNA,” and “BUCK THE SYSTEM.”
In the week leading up to last Friday (Feb. 10), Duke Deuce of the Tennessee native released his latest offering from the mixtape, which was a new video for the song “NOBODY NEEDS NOBODY.” As the previous videos have been dark and eerie, the new offering follows suit with the same idea, with Duke Deuce being placed in a cemetery with his crew to chant the lyrics of the song.
