Stream Headie One’s ‘No Borders: European Compilation Project’

Headie One has unveiled his latest project, No Borders: European Compilation Project, today (Nov. 11). The release is a collaboration among a number of big names spanning all over the old continent. These include names such as Frenna, Shiva, Koba LaD, Gazo, Kalim, and Chivv. This was revealed in a post made by the 18-year-old North London talent on Instagram, who revealed that this mixtape had been in the works for some time : “ During the last few months, I’ve been traveling a lot to Europe. trying to collab with a variety of different artists from different countries in one project.”

He also reminded his fans in that same post that he has been connecting with international artists for quite some time, showcasing his special brand of bars on a number of songs, including Hamza “Don’t Tell Me,” Jonna Fraser “Money, Power, Respect,” BKO “Profit,” Luciano “Arrived,”and Doums “Thalaso.”

In contrast to last year’s Too Loyal for My Own Good, a thirteen track compilation that included no features, No Borders: European Compilation Project is a compilation with zero features. A year before that, Headie released his long-awaited debut studio album, entitled Edna, in the year 2020, with assistance from AJ Tracey, M Huncho, Young T & Bugsey, Stormzy, Young Adz, Skepta, Drake, Future, and more. A gold certification was awarded to the rapper for his debut album that ranked No. 1 on the UK Albums chart and reached the top of the charts. There was also a deluxe edition of Edna released months after it was released with contributions from Rich The Kid, NorthSideBenji, Burna Boy, and RV.

As Headie explained in a past interview with Clash, drill music is now part of a global movement and as such is very important.

“No matter where you are in the world, people are always open to hearing new sounds. There is no doubt that drill is an honest person. When you speak the whole truth without any sugar coating or any forms of disguise, you are simply being true to yourself. You are doing what you know is best for you. Whenever you share a story, you make people aware of that reality, and people feel a part of that. As a result, drill has become part of our everyday lives, because it’s real and it makes sense. I think there is some way in which everyone can relate to it, and that’s why it will always grow.”

The latest “Buck The System” video from Duke Deuce sees the rapper taking over the radio station

The latest “Buck The System” video from Duke Deuce sees the rapper taking over the radio station

The Memphis Massacre III LP, Duke Deuce’s third album in his fan-favorite Memphis Massacre series, was released last week. The mixtape features a Memphis-only roster of artists, including Big Moochie Grape, Lil Thad, ATM Rich Baby, Glockianna, Dubba C, and Gloss Up, another QC labelmate. The release was accompanied by the video for “Mr. Memphis Massacre,” the first single from the project.

A few hours ago (Nov. 1), the Tennessee native took to social media to release the official music video for the track featured on the mixtape, “Buck The System.” This hilarious visual begins with a scene where the Tennessee native enters a local radio station and asks a DJ to play his new song on the air. Even though the rapper refuses to do so, the “Crunk Ain’t Dead” rapper takes over the studio and blasts out his song regardless of what the artist says. As soon as his hard-hitting lyrics start to fill the room, the only sounds of the entire building are his hard-hitting lyrics:

In June, Deuce released his third album, Memphis Massacre III, following CRUNKSTAR, his debut album. There were a variety of talented names who helped him out with the aforementioned body of work. These names included Slimeroni, Gloss Up, Rico Nasty, Co Cash, GloRilla, JP The Rockstar, Doe Boy, Babyface Ray, Lil Yachty, Juicy J, DJ Tootz, and Dante Smith.

With the release of the “G Nikes” video, Nardo Wick connects with Polo G

It was announced in July that Nardo Wick would release a deluxe edition of his debut album Who is Nardo Wick?. As part of this edition, you will find 31 tracks as well as additional features by Lil Baby, BIG30, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, The Kid LAROI, Future, and more. A new visual has been released for “G Nikes” by the Florida rapper, a Versa-produced track featuring Chicago’s own Polo G. For the hard-hitting track, which focuses on making money, street life, and more, the following bars have been included:

A clip accompanying the song “G Nikes” shows “Who Wants Smoke?” This video depicts the rapper and his fellow inmates taking control of a prison complex. Near the end of the film, Polo appears with his collaborator for a lavish dinner.

An interview Nardo gave in the past discussed his transition from sports to music in the following manner:

As I explained earlier, I was no longer feeling it and I knew what needed to be done. As a result, I knew I wanted to become a rapper. In the early days of my rap career, I became aware of my desire to rap. As for football, it is going to take too long… ‘Cause if I were still in football, I would still be broke right now. I was hoping I would’ve returned to college if I didn’t make it.”
