Understanding your roots enables a person to grow exponentially.
Roots provide water and nutrients for a tree, allowing it to grow into a beautiful feature in the landscape. As a result, trees must have roots to survive. The common belief about tree roots is that they grow as far as the branches extend, but in fact, they can grow four times as broad as the tree’s crown.

SZA and Top Dawg Entertainment were able to achieve significant critical and commercial success with the project. This included landing SZA at number three on the Billboard 200 before her music spent an incredible 260 weeks atop that chart. Over the years, the project has also been certified double Platinum and released classic singles including “The Weekend,” “Love Galore,” and “Broken Clocks.”
SZA and TDE announced that they will upgrade Ctrl’s fifth anniversary with a deluxe upgrade. This upgrade includes seven additional songs recorded between 2014 and 2017, as the singer revealed at the time. Among the seven songs is an alternative version of “Love Galore” which includes a new verse by singer SZA, adding to the song’s original theme of regret about love gone by:

The key to mastery is practice.
The pursuit of perfection never ends for natural-born leaders. Seeking perfection requires a person to become obsessed with every aspect of the process. Falling in love with the process is an aspect most people never comprehend. The majority of people desire clout and fame but never understand the level of sacrifice needed to attain these upper echelon achievements.
Greatness is crafted, created, and manufactured in darkness and emerges into the light via diving timing. Success never arrives on time or when a person desires. The sheer beauty of manifestation occurs when the process becomes the driving force in their lives.

In recent years, black women have been making huge waves in Hollywood and the entertainment industry. One example is Viola Davis, the first black woman to win an Emmy award for Best Actress in a Drama TV series. There are also many more famous black actresses playing lead roles in movies like A Wrinkle in Time and Black Panther and TV shows such as NBC’s This Is Us.
In recent years, Hollywood has seen a significant shift in the types of roles and the faces that we see on-screen. This is partially due to the introduction of black women who are standing up and demanding that their voices be heard. The more diverse representation becomes, the less likely it will be that there are any barriers limiting black women from achieving success in Hollywood.
The rise of black female directors
The success of films like “Black Panther,” “A Wrinkle in Time,” and “Girls Trip” has been great for black female directors who are directing films that are becoming box office successes. This is a huge step forward for Hollywood as movies with men and women of color continue to tell their stories while also catering to the audience.
Why there is a lack of diversity in Hollywood
Hollywood has always been a white-dominated industry, which continues to be the norm. There is a lack of diversity in Hollywood’s executive positions as well. As of today, there are no Latinos or black people in any of Hollywood’s top six executive positions. The lack of diversity in Hollywood is a problem because it prevents talented women and people of color from being represented in the industry. This is problematic because society’s representation of these groups determines how they are treated. If we are never seen on the big screen, we will not be seen at all. Society will only change its views and treatment of people of color, women, LGBTQ+ people, and other minorities is to start seeing them more in movies and TV shows.
The push for equal representation
Black women are finally getting the recognition they deserve in Hollywood. There has been a push for equal representation in film and television, and it’s paying off. The success of shows like “Empire” and “Scandal” prove that there is an audience for this type of content. In 2014, Ava DuVernay became the first African-American woman to direct a live-action film with a budget of over $100 million. The movie was “Selma.” Other black actresses and directors were also nominated for Academy Awards in 2016, including Viola Davis for “Suicide Squad,” Kumail Nanjiani for “The Big Sick,” and Barry Jenkins for “Moonlight.” These successes have helped pave the way for many more black women to make strides in Hollywood.
Black Women’s influence on Hollywood
Black women are a powerful force in Hollywood. According to recent numbers, movies with predominately African American casts made 2.2 billion dollars in the U.S., while movies with predominately white casts only made 1.3 billion dollars. Furthermore, these films also accounted for an estimated 11% of Hollywood’s domestic revenue last year.
Conclusion
Some might argue that the era where a Black person was only afforded one or two roles in Hollywood is over. There are now many diverse roles for Black people in Hollywood, and it seems like there’s more to come. In the past year, Black women have made a massive impact in Hollywood. Jordan Peele became the first black director to win the Academy Award for best original screenplay. Tyler Perry was nominated for an Oscar for his movie, “Boo!” NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton” won their first-ever Oscar for best original song, and in January, Oprah Winfrey will make history as the first self-made woman billionaire.

Following a private funeral service for Young Dolph, a public memorial for the beloved rapper is reportedly in the works.
According to HipHopDX, Pastor Earle Fisher, who spoke at Dolph’s private service on Tuesday (November 30), said a public memorial will be held for the late 36-year-old in Memphis during the FedExForum ceremony on December 16.
Having a capacity for almost 19,000 people, fans of young Dolph will pay their last tribute
Dying at the tender age of just 36 years will affect Young Dolph fans, relatives, and family, and leave a gap in the entertainment industry.
Arranging a memorial in a venue with a large capacity is a decent idea, since the burial was a private event involving family members and friends.
Disturbing fat is that police have yet to make any arrests over two weeks since the shooting.
Speaking during the burial of Young Dolph, Pastor Fisher said is that failure by the police to arrest the assailants is concerning.
Adding to his sentiments, the pastor noted that elected leaders and officials should bring the assailants to accountability and justice quickly. Within Shelby County, murders happen about every day, yet people who are in powerful positions that have created policies cannot act.
According to REVOLT, three men fired shots into a mourning crowd outside Makeda’s Cookies the day after Dolph’s death. Shooting incident happened a few days later where police found a car that Dolph’s killers used, and a man was killed.
Processing the two-door white Mercedes Benz also revealed that it had been reportedly linked to an additional shooting in Tennessee. Ongoing effort to capture the suspect has led to police releasing surveillance photos
Adding to the surveillance photos, police have also asked anyone with additional information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
