As I ride my Peloton bike, my virtual journey takes me through the picturesque landscapes of Italy. The lush greenery, quaint villages, and winding roads make for a delightful cycling experience. But my attention is momentarily diverted when I tune in to The Nikkie Clarke Show via YouTube TV.

There was a new single drop by Drake back in March, which was premiered on his SiriusXM radio station Sound 42. This track is titled “Search & Rescue,” was produced by Sad Pony, BNYX, as well as 40, and features a sample of the audio from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that contains audio from Kim Kardashian’s highly publicized divorce. Whether you believe it or not, many people would say that he is among the hardest west coast artists to ever come out of the region. Despite some of his music being overlooked by some to an extent, he will never let that stop him from making quality street music each and every time he performs. As of today (Apr. 7), KOLLECT KALL is out for all to hear.
With KOLLECT KALL, Mozzy releases his 21st EP and the follow-up to last year’s Survivor’s Guilt. After turning himself in to the feds to serve a one year sentence in 2022, the CMG rapper found himself at a crossroads of his career. His plea to a charge of possessing a firearm by a felon convicted of a felony was accepted by the court. As Mozzy began his sentence last July, it is now just a few months before his official return to the United States.
In spite of the fact that it is likely that we will have to wait quite some time before we hear Mozzy’s next full length project, he has delivered fans this new EP to hold them over until then. It was revealed that he was working on the project ahead of the release of his latest single, “Free All The Lifers” which was released alongside a brief trailer that included a phone call from the singer.

As you may remember, Kash Doll teamed up with DJ Drama back in February to release Back On Dexter: A Gangsta Grillz collection of 11 tracks, in addition to which there were features from Babyface Ray, Peezy, Sada Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Lakeyah, YN Jay, and more. It was on Wednesday (April 5) that the Detroit emcee dropped a new video, entitled “LEGIT,” which was produced by Joseph McFashion and Dooder and features Payroll Giovanni, a fellow hometown hero of the Detroit emcee. A track on the album sees the artists representing their city while flaunting the wealth and success they have earned through hard labor.
In an accompanying clip for the song, Kash Doll and Giovanni are shown living life to the fullest in a bank, a restaurant, and a nightclub in the clip for “LEGIT.” This can be observed while authorities are spotted doing surveillance for reasons still unknown to the public.
Since Kash Doll released her debut LP, Stacked, four years ago, it has been a long road. Among the 17 songs on that project, there were also 17 assists, which came from artists such as Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Summer Walker, and Teyana Taylor. The Just For Clarity 2 EP by Blxst was released at the beginning of March, following the same-named two-pack from 2021. On top of the four songs included on the album, special guest appearances were made by Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Larry June, and Terrace Martin, and the last of these guests appeared on the album’s lead single, “Keep Calling.”
Today (April 6th), the California-bred singer Blxst debuted the latest visual from her upcoming album, which is a remix of Roddy’s recent single “Passionate.” Shot by Mayowa and Blu, the newly released video alternates between scenes of sold-out crowds, luxury vehicles, and panoramic views of Los Angeles. As Roddy begins his verse on the track, Blxst makes it clear that he loves the journey.
There was just Before You Go in April 2022, just prior to Just For Clarity 2, which featured appearances from artists such as Grandmaster Vic, Arin Ray, and Rick Ross. As of 2020, No Love Lost was the first EP he released, which originally contained eight featureless tracks, until he introduced twelve new tracks onto the scene. As months went on, he would circle back to release a deluxe edition of the album, which would include guest features from Ty Dolla $ign, Dom Kennedy, Tyga, and Bino Rideaux.
