As the coronavirus pandemic continue to impact the world, the vaccine’s first doses have been rushed. On Monday, several frontline healthcare workers received doses as the intention is to protect them from further risk of contracting the disease. One of the first people to receive the vaccine in the state is a Black registered nurse at New York’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
