A new campaign was launched by Offset to focus on the importance of voting. This particular collaboration with Rolling Stone comes after the publication found out that the rapper lost his voting rights following a felony conviction. He has now decided to share his story with his fans. Just yesterday, a PSA was posted by Offset on Instagram, reminding people that votes matter.

”I was told my voice didn’t count. It does. You don’t think your voice counts? It does,” he wrote. “My voice + your voice can make real changes. I’m figuring things out. You can too.” He decided to share his story in the video, talking about when he learned about losing his voting rights.

Just a month ago, the fifth studio album of Machine Gun Kelly called Tickets To My Downfall, was released. The project was very different from his previous ones, because of the involvement of rock-and-roll veteran Travis Barker. Now, a new video for “forget me too,” has been released, featuring Halsey, wherein both can be seen getting ready to completely cut off from each other. The video was directed by Philip Andelman, and shows MGK and Halsey practically engaged in the same movements, although separately. They can be seen pacing around the house, enraged as they are trapped in a magic 8-ball. In the end, they end up in the living room to finish the song with Barker on drums. Then, Halsey disappears and Kelly rides away on his motorcycle.

Penn State coach resigns following investigation into “noose” comment

The head coach of Penn State University’s men’s basketball team- Pat Chambers – resigned from his role. This comes after an investigation was launched into allegations that he spoke about a “noose” to one of his Black players. About three months ago, Rasir Bolton took to Twitter, to talk about this incident and revealed that it played a role in his choice to move to Iowa State. “A ‘noose’ around my neck is why I left Penn State,” he wrote. “Head Coach Patrick Chambers, the day after his one-game suspension in January 2019, in talking to me, referenced a ‘noose’ around my neck. A noose; symbolic of lynching, defined as one of the most powerful symbols directed at African-Americans invoking the history of lynching, slavery and racial terrorism. Due to other interactions with Coach, I know this was no slip of the tongue.” After reporting the incident to his academic advisor, the school taught him “ways to deal with Coach Chambers’ personality type.”
