Robinhood is facing substantial criticism after its users were restricted from purchasing the shares of GameStop just a few hours following the stock boom of the company.
On January 27th, after an investment in GameStop, the shares of the company rose from $64 to $327. However, the users of Robinhood could not make any investments because of the “volatility” of the market, resulting in widespread criticism.
At Florida’s Liberty High School, students are demanding that the deputy Ethan Fournier get fired, after he was caught on camera body-slamming a student until she turned unconscious. The disturbing video became viral and students have reported that they do not feel safe in the school anymore. They have demanded that Fournier be fired. Right now, he is on administrative leave.

Offensive tackle of Seattle Seahawks, Chad Wheeler, was taken into custody on January 24th, on suspicions of felony domestic violence. According to reports, Wheeler allegedly strangled and beat his girlfriend after he asked her to bow to him. His girlfriend was found by police inside a bathroom, after she called 911 stating that her arm was dislocated by Wheeler and he was trying to kill her.
