In ‘R&B Money,’ Tank stacks up the hits

There is always a point at which all good things in life must eventually come to an end, no matter what their aspect may be. It is fair to say that during the course of a career spanning more than 25 years, R&B sensation Tank has produced some timeless recordings and vibes. In the end, the Milwaukee talent will be remembered as one of the best ever to have made it to the top. The male R&B genre has benefited greatly from him. After losing his hearing in his right ear in 2021, Tank has decided to retire from the gaming industry. I hope he is able to continue contributing music for years to come. Earlier today, he released his last album, R&B Money, to the public (Aug 19).

In addition to being a bittersweet moment for most of us, being able to watch Tank’s career blossom over the years is a real honor. It also just so happens that he dropped this album at the best possible time. Social media has become a national topic of discussion after Diddy kicked it off. The question that he posed in a tweet earlier this week was, “Who killed R&B? The question led to many debates with varying answers and reasoning. Essentially, this was the type of alley-oop Tank needed to prove that R&B is far from dead.

Tank explained in a statement what motivated him to record his final album: “ R&B Money represents a labor of love I’ve put into the genre of R&B. That’s who I am! ” he declared. “My life wouldn’t be the same without artists such as Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Keith Sweat, Al Green, and all the fans who keep me motivated to make music. It was imperative to me that this album was a tribute to my influences and my development as an artist, and I think that’s exactly what this record represents.”

“Bust A Brick Nick” by Benny The Butcher gets a new visual.

As you know, Benny The Butcher’s critically acclaimed Tana Talk series reached its fourth installment last month, featuring 12 songs and contributions from Stove God Cooks, J. Cole, Boldy James, 38 Spesh, Diddy, as well as Griselda cohorts Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn, who contributed bars to “Guerrero” and “Tyson vs. Ali,” and respectively.

Earlier this week (April 20), Benny just released a new video from Tana Talk 4 for “Bust A Brick Nick,” a track produced by Alchemist that features the Buffalo rapper rapping about his detractors, getting shot, and money, among other topics:

A clip for “Bust A Brick Nick” is below, which features Kat, Tony Deniro, and Blu, along with Benny The Butcher somewhere in the desert. In addition to a private jet, beautiful women carrying suitcases, Benny riding his high-end whip, and much more, viewers are treated to various shots throughout the movie.

Tana Talk 4 follows on from the successful Tana Talk series as well as other fantastic works from Benny The Butcher, including Burden of Proof, The Plugs I Met 2, and Pyrex Picasso. Benny explained how he has continued to improve his craft in a previous interview:

I’m consistent. My consistency has increased. Even though I felt my talents were excellent, when you’re doing what you’re doing at the street level, your focus isn’t entirely there. I get a hundred percent of my attention doing this for a living.”

Puff Daddy seeks to reclaim the Sean John empire he founded

When we think of iconic fashion brands from decades ago, Puff Daddy’s Sean John is one that immediately comes to mind. Launched in 1998, Sean John became a success at the time and dominated the fashion world for over a decade. Sean John’s clothing symbolizes greatness and strength inside the black community.

Puf Diddy, also known as P. Diddy, wants to get Sean John back up and running with a proposal for $3.3 million worth in assets. Bloomberg is reporting that Puff Daddy is aiming to revive the iconic brand.

A Deeper Look Into Puff Daddy’s Sean John Reclamation

Puff Daddy is trying to reclaim his clothing empire, Sean John. A bankruptcy filing was made by GBG USA Inc., which bought the company last year. The Hip-Hop legend wants to repurchase the company from GBG USA Inc. Sean John was sold by Diddy to BBG in November 2016.

Court papers obtained by the outlet show that a Diddy-affiliated entity bid on retrieving Sean John at a bankruptcy auction.

In a recent turn of events, Sean John’s ongoing legal battle with Puff Daddy about using his likeness and picture for a clothing line for Missguided, without permission, took a turn when Diddy filed a $25 million lawsuit against Sean John.

Diddy does not wish to imply that Sean John’s right to use the Sean John trademark is in any way questioned, but diddy wishes to point out that Sean John’s decision to leverage a misattributed claim they created and falsely attributed to Mr. Combs is.

Using the name and other aliases of Mr. Combs are being used in order to make it appear that Mr. Combs is the creative force behind the GBG Collection creates a problem and misleads the public.

When will the bidder be announced?

Puff Daddy has put forth a bid on his clothing empire Sean John, but he is not the only potential buyer.

Sean John, founded by Puff Daddy in 1998, has been acquired by GBA INC. The company’s official announcement is scheduled to be released tomorrow morning.

Trey Brown lays the foundation for his second clothing store

Trey Brown’s business acumen has continued to rise to new heights.

According to reports, Philadelphia native Trey Brown has just taken another pivotal step and expanded his growing business empire.

It was explained in a report posted on Thursday (June 10) by Baller Alert that Brown, the founder of the boutique clothing line SPERGO, opened his second clothing store recently. Pentagon City Mall is how you can find this one in Washington, D.C. A physical store was his first opening in Philadelphia. In 2017 after appearing together on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” Diddy gave him a $25,000 grant for the store.

Diddy surprised Brown on the set when he appeared with him and offered encouraging words. Both men demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit in their conversation. Currently, Brown’s ascension continues.

With the opening of the new store last month, Brown’s savvy business acumen has been rewarded once again. During his 12-year birthday celebration in 2018, Brown received $178 as a gift for starting SPERGO. In 2019, SPERGO clothing sold an astonishing 40,000 in retail sales. He is now expecting SPERGO to earn $2 million this year. Furthermore, Brown has agreed to participate in the Philadelphia 76ers’ Buy Black program, a business support program.

I never would have imagined becoming an official 76ers partner three years ago, Brown told Baller Alert, about the deal.
