“I’ll Make Time” video finds Larry June finding luck

The latest collection of Larry June’s works, Spaceships on the Blade, was unveiled last month. In addition to hiring Herm Lewis to compose the album intro, June also enlisted the services of Babyface Ray, 2 Chainz, Curren$y, Syd, Duckwrth, and Wallo to create the remaining 19 tracks. This album was produced by Jake One, The Alchemist, Chuck Inglish (of The Cool Kids),Turbo, Johan Lenox, Mr. Rogers, as well as longtime collaborator Cardo, an essential part of June’s 2021 project Into the Late Night.

Earlier yesterday (Sept. 20), June released a brand new video for his latest single, “I’ll Make Time.” Produced by Shadeh Smith, the video opens with June at the gas station, where he notices someone catching his eye. His new love interest keeps running into him throughout the video before the two finally spend some time together. In the song, June talks about his love for his lady:

In the year leading up to Spaceships on the Blade, June published her last solo project, Orange Print. A number of visuals have been released to support the album, including “6am In Sausalito,” “Intercepted,” and “Still Cookin” featuring Money Man. In the course of his career, Orange Print has become his most commercially successful project, breaking into the Billboard Top 200 for the first time.

The moMINTs project from Tobe Nwigwe was launched last month, and he has consistently shared visuals from the body of work. The clips have been well received so far, including “Lord Forgive Me,” “Get A Lil Bag,” “Big Cap” which features his wife Pharrell Williams, Fat, and Johnny Venus of EarthGang, “Destruction,” “Round Here (Parts 1 and 2),” and “Been Broke” Chamillionaire, starring Fat, and 2 Chainz.

A day earlier (Sept. 20), Nwigwe released the official music video for the group’s newest single “Mini Me.” Fat and Dame D.O.L.L.A. appear on the track, which sees them come together in a stunning garden for a live performance of their collaboration. The song begins with Nwigwe handling the verse:

In 2020, Nwigwe dropped Cincoriginals, a 14-track compilation that included Killa Kyleon, Black Thought, Trae Tha Truth, Cyhi The Prynce, Bun B, D Smoke, Royce da 5’9”, Big K.R.I.T., Fat, as well as his go-to producer LaNell Grant. It has been almost two years since he dropped loose records like “Wake Up Everybody,” “A Million,” and “A Revealing Freestyle.”

A full body of work from Tobe Nwigwe’s moMINTs project was shared last month, and he has been consistently sharing visuals from the project. A number of well-received clips have been released for EarthGang songs, including “Round Here (Parts 1 and 2),” and “Lord Forgive Me” “Big Cap,” performed by Fat, Pharrell Williams, “Destruction,” and “Been Broke” performed by Fat, 2 Chainz, and Chamillionaire.

It was Nwigwe who shared the latest video from moMINTs yesterday (Sept. 11), this time for the track “Get A Lil Bag.” Afflicted with help from his wife Fat, the video features Nwigwe getting his troops prepared for the day ahead. There are several bars about being prepared for battle that he raps on the track:

This is the follow-up to the legendary Cincoriginals compilation of 2020, which contained 14 songs featuring the talents of Cyhi The Prynce, Trae Tha Truth, Bun B, D Smoke, Black Thought, Killa Kyleon, Big K.R.I.T., Royce da 5’9”, Fat, along with the legendary producer LaNell Grant. Throughout the last year, he has released freestyles such as “Wake Up Everybody,” “A Revealing Freestyle,” and “A Million.”

Over the course of the year, Gucci Mane has offered fans quality singles such as “Blood All On It,” “Publicity Stunt” by Key Glock “Rumors,” “Fake Friends” with Lil Durk, and Young Dolph, “Mrs. Davis,” “Serial Killers,” “All Dz Chainz” featuring Lil Baby,” and “Dissin The Dead.” As well as his own songs, he appeared on Pooh Shiesty “Next Up,” Big Scarr “Houdini,” Quavo and Takeoff “Us vs. Them” and Mariah Carey “Obsessed (Remix).”

As of today (Aug. 19), Gucci is adding to that with the release of “Gelati,” a track featuring 1017 rising star BigWalkDog, along with fellow hometown hero Peewee Longway. According to the chorus of “Gelati,” the song is all about making money and enjoying life to the fullest:

Almost a year has passed since Gucci Mane released his fifteenth studio album Ice Daddy. This album included 17 songs and guest appearances by BIG30, Pooh Shiesty, 2 Chainz, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, and more. A further point of significance is that one of hip hop’s most prolific artists has continued to produce – for example, Gucci releases albums on his 1017 label including So Icy Boyz, So Icy Christmas,and So Icy Gang: The ReUp.

It was announced over the weekend that Mozzy’s new track, Survivor’s Guilt, would be released soon. In addition to the 15 tracks on the album, it features features from Saweetie, YG, 2 Chainz, EST Gee, Shordie Shorde, Blxst, and many others. A new music video for “If You Love Me” has been released by Mozzy in celebration of the release of his latest vinyl. The video was directed by Suj and Seth Stern and walks viewers through the reality of losing a loved one. As Mozzy attends a funeral, he delivers these hard-hitting lines:

In September, the Oak Park superstar released his solo project Untreated Trauma. It was preceded by Kommunity Service, a joint project with YG which included the contributions of G Herbo, Tyga, Blxst, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more.
